Belladonna's P.O.V.
Why does life always suck? It's a question I find myself asking frequently. Right now I'm not sure if it's anger coursing through my veins or sadness. It all started with the stupid council. I remember what had happened. Caroline offered to take me with her since Tyler had died when Klaus died. I tried to tell her that it wouldn't make sense for Tyler to die since Klaus wasn't dead and sadly neither were the Salvatores. I told her that she shouldn't miss him because there had been something up with him since he came back but she didn't want to hear it.
We were just leaving her house when we were ambushed by the council members. They tried to vervain us but vervain doesn't actually work on me so I managed to kill three of them before they shot me in the head and everything went black. When I wake up, I see Caroline and Rebekah in front of me. I try and move and find my hands bound. "Oh, how kinky!" I shout at the front before focusing on Rebekah. "What are you doing here?"
"I got ambushed at the house. Stefan managed to wake Damon up around the same time I ran Elena off Wickery Bridge." I can't help the wince. It's not that I care about whether Elena lives or dies it's more that I remember what it was like drowning and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, not even her. "He came to confront me and I was attacked."
"She's in transition," I tell her. "I can feel it."
"Do you think you can get us out of here?" Caroline asks.
"I don't know. If I wreck the car there's a chance we all die and by the time we wake we're just in another car." Before anyone can answer, the van they're in flips over, making all their heads bang against the wall.
"I thought we were going to discuss this!" Rebekah shouts.
"I'm not doing it!" I shout back right before the door is yanked off and Tyler is revealed.
"Tyler! What...How?" Ignoring them, I take a breath, focusing my strength on the ropes on my wrist and tugging, making them break before taking the ones on my ankle off as well.
"Belladonna, come on," Tyler says and I glare at him.
"I'm not leaving Rebekah, Jackass." With that, I turn to the blonde and yank her ropes off and we all speed away. I go in the direction Tyler and Caroline went and find them kissing against a tree as Tyler tries to push her away.
"Woah, wrong guy," he tells her.
"What are you talking about?" She demands.
"It's not Tyler," I realize, focusing on his aura as I remember that he called me Belladonna. "It's Klaus. He's the only one who ever calls me by my full name." He grins at me but it looks all wrong coming from Tyler.
"You always were brilliant, Princess."
"And you were always a Perv. How did you survive? I know Ellie didn't save you because she sobbed over your death and thought that I was going crazy with denial."
"Glad to know someone cared."
"I knew you weren't dead. I would've felt it."
"Well, it seems someone wanted me alive. Perhaps I do have friends somewhere. Now I went to the storage unit where I was killed and the miracle of oxygen deprivation seems to have preserved my body so if Ellie would be so kind as to pop over here and put me back, it would be greatly appreciated."
"Where's the stupid body?" I snap, angry at him, but I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because, for a while, I honestly thought he was dead, that maybe my powers had failed me and I had let him walk into a death trap. "And why did it take you so long to tell someone you were alive?"
