⚠️THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BUDDIE OR 911onfox. SCROLL OR READ TO THE END FOR MORE INFORMATION⚠️

"Hey honey it's time for school" Rory slowly opened her eyes. It was morning. The next day. Those words made her stomach drop.

"I don't feel well" she lied. "It's just anxiety honey. You've missed to many days now. Get up and get dressed." Her mother replied. Desperation filled Rory. She had to get out of school. Some how some way. She couldn't do it anymore.

She got up. Brushed her teeth in her mom's bathroom and did her hair. She turned to her mom who was sitting on her bed. "Mom" she almost whispered. She wanted to cry so badly.

"Yes?" She replied. "Can I please stay home" Rory asked. She always had a tiny bit of hope everytime she asked. "Rory. We talked about this! Schools almost over. Just push through it" her mom explained. Rory felt her chest tighten. No nonononon.. she can't go to school!!

"Mom! Please! I hate it there!!" She yelled. "Why!? What's wrong with school!?" Her mom asked. "The teachers are so mean! They give me too much work!"

Rory lied. It wasn't the teachers. They weren't as bad as she made them seem but at the same time, they were. Her anxiety had hurt people she called friends. She hated how they must've talked about her behind her back. She understands what she did was wrong but the past was the past and she couldn't fix it. She also thought about how she turned her bestfriend into someone completely different than who she truly was.

What? Was she really going to tell her mom!?

"I'm sorry. Please go get dressed. You're dad is going to be late." Rory's mom ordered.

Anger filled her heart. Her brain. She started throwing things all the way to her bedroom and she slammed the door. She couldn't take these overwhelming feeling anymore. She did what she'd normally do. She grabbed the knife she stole from the kitchen and made three deep cuts in her arm. They were just enough to feel better again.

She needed paper towel or something to wipe the blood. She didn't give a damn anymore. Why the hell should she care? She walked out of her room not covering her arm up. She walked past her brother and her dad who didn't seem to notice the blood dripping down her forearm.

She made it to her moms room. She was brushing her teeth. Rory grabbed a tissue from the counter and walked back to her room. She had closed the door after her.

Her mom came down the hallway a few seconds later. "Rory" she knocked on the door. Rory grabbed a towel from her laundry basket and covered her arm. "Yeah?"

The door opened. "Are you bleeding?" She asked. "Oh shit" Rory thought. "No?" She lied. "There's blood in my sink. Move the towel" she ordered.

"Why?" Rory asked. "Move the towel" she said again. "No" Rory argued back. Her mom stepped into her room and tried to grab it. Rory rolled onto her arm holding the towel in place.

Her mom called for her dad. He came storming into the room and pulled the towel off of her. Rory began sobbing.

"Oh my god" her mom shuttered. Her dad left the room in disappointment. "Why would you do that!?" She yelled. Rory couldn't answer. She stared into her moms eyes crying.

Her mom left. She didn't know what to do. Her dad came back furious. "Why would you do that to yourself huh!?" He yelled. "I had a lot of friend who killed themselves in high school. You can't just do that!" He added. "This is a serious thing!!!" He left again.

Her mom came back to her room to tell her to get dressed and left again. For the next 10 minutes she heard her parents fighting in their room about the situation.

When she got dressed her mom asked if she was ready. "Why can't I just stay home?" She whispered. "You have to go" her mom said.

Rory was in her moms room getting shoes to wear. Her mom took her into a hug. "Why does it help?" She said into her ear. Rory shrugged speechless.

Rory didn't talk to her dad for 3 days. She'd had a soccer tournament and he insisted on going long before the incident. The whole time she was silent. Embarrassed about her whole family knowing. She wrapped her arm that'd been cut. Everyone on the team asked what it was. She couldn't think about how to explain so she said it was a burn.

Her mom never spoke or brought it up ever. She acted as if it didn't happen.

If it wasn't obvious this is about me. My name is not Rory. But this story is real. It happened last year around this time. I just really need to yell about it yknow? I will never forgive my parents for the way they acted towards me that day because it only made me hate myself even more. Writing it into a fictional character makes me able to express my problems. And I can really only express them if people know how I feel. I know my whole Buddie one shot is literally just angst but I like angst. I'll try more soft light hearted stories I promise. I just need this one to be out there. If you read the story thank you. If you didn't, that's okay.
