Christopher loved buck. He's was like his best friend. All his friends knew about buck and their bond and what they'd been through.
But...buck seemed to be around his house more that his own. He was always so close to his dad, he never seemed to leave. He bought them groceries, he'd make the food, and he would usually go take a nap in his dad's room. Even Christopher wasn't allowed to sleep in there. Buck even started learning Spanish.
Chris thought this was unusual for best friends. He didn't go over to his friends house every weekend. They also didn't plan very much. They talked a lot, sometimes leading them to getting in trouble during classes. But Christopher had to know, why was buck over there so often?
Christopher walked out to the kitchen where eddie was refilling the lemonade dispenser. "Hey Chris what's up?" Eddie smiled. "Is buck homeless?" He says bluntly. Eddie stopped mixing. "What?" He chuckled confused.
"Is buck homeless" he said again. "No? Why would you think that?" Eddie resumed mixing the lemonade. "He's over here a lot"
"Well-"
Eddie told him to wait for buck to join the conversation. He got back and sat next to Eddie as ordered.
"So....me and buck have something to explain to you" Eddie sits back in his chair. "Okay"

"So..that's it" Eddie looked at Chris who was confused and shocked. "So-" Chris's mouth hung open a little more than usual.
"I'm not sure I can explain it any further"
