"So what are you doing for Valentine's Day? Got a date?" Hen asked.
"No.." buck replied eyeing Eddie as he watched TV with Bobby and chimney. Eddie hasn't asked him yet. What? Was he supposed to ask? No way. Eddie should be asking him on a date for Valentine's Day.
"Is there a special girl you're going to ask?" Hen pushes. "No. No girl. Sounds like I'LL BE SPENDING VALENTINES DAY ALONE THIS YEAR" He yelled so Eddie heard him.
And in fact he did. He paused. Forgot all about the holiday. He forgot to ask Buck to be his valentine. He forgot to buy flowers. He forgot to make a big deal about the big day.
At the end of the shift, Buck went home to his apartment because he had things to do. That gave Eddie a chance to fix everything. He called and made a reservation at a restaurant they both liked. He went and bought some flowers and a card that says "be mine?" It was sure to make Buck forget about Eddie forgetting. And it's not like Eddie was going to tell him he forgot.
"Chris!" Eddie called. He planned it all out. Chris was going to ask for help on homework. Knowing full well buck didn't know how to do basic math. And then when he finally arrived eddie would get down on his knee and ask.
"Yeah? Wassup dad" Christopher waddled out of his room.
"Call buck. Ask him for help on your homework"
After the plan sprung into action eddie began to practice how he would ask. The door bell rung.
"Hey buck" Eddie smiled. Buck glared at Eddie. "Hello" he said. Eddie let him in and began his mission. "Can you stand right here for a second?" Eddie asked. "Okay?" Buck said cluelessly. Eddie ran down the hall to grab the card and the flowers. He ran back out to buck still standing there.
He stood in front of him and got down on his knee. "Evan, will you be my valentine?" Eddie smiled. Bucks mouth hung open as he blushed. "Yeah" he chuckled. Eddie stood up and took buck into a hug.
Buck pulled away just a little bit to give him a kiss. "I know you forgot" he said before kissing Eddie.
