December 14, 1959
We went to Baguio to attend to a party from the President, we obviously left the kids in Ilocos with mommy and Inday.
"Oh, Mr. Marcos, how are you?" bati ng amerkano kay Ferdinand.
"Oh, I'm fine Mr. Smith, what bring you here in the Philippines?" bati ni Ferdinand.
"Oh, yes yes, I was here for a business trip. Also, I have to discuss some business with the president, and you." Sabi naman niya.
"Is that it? For a moment, let's just enjoy the party." Sabi naman ni Ferdinand.
"Who's this fine lady you're with?" tanong niya. Ferdinand then holds my waist then pulled me closed to him.
"This is Mrs. Imelda Marcos, my lovely wife." He proudly introduced me.
The American then extends his hands so I extended mine to him. Akala ko naman handshake lang pero he's trying to kiss it, ginawa ko nama ay shinake yung hands niya para di niya mahalikan.
"Nice to meet Mr. Smith." Sabi ko then smiled.
"Nice to meet you Imelda, you do have a lovely wife here Mr. Marcos, good for you!" sabi naman niya.
May dumaan naman na photographer and asked for a photo so Ferdinand and I posted, medyo na awkward naman ako.

Bigla naman may tumugtog na music at nagsimula na magsayawan ang mga officials sa gitna.
"Can I dance with you Mrs. Marcos?" tanong niya sa akin.
I looked at Ferdinand.
"Is it okay Mr. Marcos?" tanong niya rito.
"If it's okay for my wife, then it's okay for me." Sabi niya. I looked at him straight in the eye and he just smiled at me.
Ah, talaga Ferdinand ha, di mo talaga ako isasalba nitong puti ha, sige. I thought to myself.
I looked at Mr. Smith and take his hand.
"Sure, we can dance." I said to the man then accepted his offer.
I thought to myself. So, I decided to excuse myself from Mr. Smith.
"Uhm, Mr. Smith, can I excuse myself for a moment, I got thirsty all of a sudden?" I asked politely.
"Oh, sorry, yeah you may, it's nice dancing with you Mrs. Marcos, hope to see you around since I be doing some business with your husband." He said then I smiled and walk away.
