Philip was ready. He had told the triplets as much, but Mrs. Draven still had Freya under. It had been going on 4 weeks and his mate was still asleep. He decided to jump back into school while he waited.

He knew deep down Mrs. Draven didn't know what to do. It wasn't like he shared his plan with the masses, mostly because he was afraid of ridicule and additional rejection. Philip had his phone on at all times in case one of the triplets sent him a text that Freya was up and his plan could proceed.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't realize Jessica was headed towards him until it was too late. They were outside in the courtyard. She was too close per usual and Philip was getting more annoyed.

"Hi Phil," she smiled widely causing him to grunt. "I haven't seen you in a while." She purred placing her hand on his chest. Philip looked from her hand to her face and shrugged her off. "Look Jessica, I know we've had an arrangement for a minute, but it's not going to work anymore." He watched as her face morphed into an angry expression.

"Is it because of her? Your stupid mate? I thought you didn't want her?!" She was drawing attention, which Philip could've ignored if it weren't for the blue eyes he saw staring at them. Jessica had placed her hand on Philip's cheek and he watched wide eyed as a lightning bolt struck inches from Jessica's feet. The blond let out a loud scream before falling to the ground.

Philip grabbed her shoulder and looked into her eyes. "You don't know me. You've never met me. Whenever you see me, you'll walk in the other direction." He compelled her before looking up to find that his mate was no longer there.

"Shit!" Philip cursed before grabbing his phone and dialing Malachi. "It's time!" He said as he rushed off campus and then sped off to his apartment. Philip got dressed in matching green shorts and top. He put on his slides and waited for Mason to arrive. He sent a wishful plea to Lucifer to make it so his granddaughter was open and receptive to his gesture and the words he had to say.

Freya was shocked to see her little brother and sister in front of her. She was in the parking lot about to leave campus. She begged her mother to let her go to school one last time. She was feeling much better and said as much, but she knew her mother had made up her mind. Freya just wanted to get out of the house and breathe a little before the worst possible thing to happen to a witch happened to her.

Classes were great and she really felt happy which had been rare, but as she headed to the class she shared with Philip she grew worried. When she saw him together with the girl she knew he had slept with her whole mood changed.

Anger didn't begin to describe how she was feeling as the blond touched her mate. Hers. The lightning struck on its own accord and Freya was just mad it didn't hit her. She left after that.

She refused to watch her touch him again. She refused to stand there and watch him allow her to touch him. She was headed home and was thoroughly confused as to why Lala and Malachi were in front of her.
