How It All Happened!! - Part 2

~Flashback Mode~

Grandine walked into the house, knowing her love life was going to get complicated. She walked back to her bedroom only to find that Weisslogia was asleep and snoring. She scoffed at the sight she had to behold and decided to take a shower, washing away all her confusion and hoping not to think about the handsome neighbour she had.

-The Next Morning-

Grandine decided to take a run and take out all the toxins in her body. She laced up her running shoes and ran downstairs, she gave her blonde haired boyfriend one last look, appreciating that his snoring had settled down to a now manageable tone. She grabbed her keys and stepped out only to meet Igneel doing the same with his son, she ran over to him on the other side of the street.

"Morning Igneel." She greeted.

"Morning Grandine." He looked up from what he was doing.

"What's your name, honey?" She looked down at the pink haired little boy whom was all dressed for a run.

"My name is Natsu Dragneel. Are you going to marry my daddy?" Grandine froze and looked to Igneel as he smiled.

"No Natsu, I'm not going to marry her; all I did was tell you that she is our neighbour and she is really nice and pretty." He looked at her Grandine only to notice that she had turned crimson red at his comment.

"Sorry, I told him that I had met the neighbour and that you are really pretty and was nice enough to do us that favor." She chuckled as he put his hands into his pockets.

"You really think I'm pretty and nice?" Grandine placed her hands across her back and rocked back and forth waiting for him answer.

"Every woman should be told she is beautiful and wonderful. Would you like to take a walk with us?" Igneel put his hands on the bar of the stroller.

"Yes, I was going for one myself; it'll give me sometime to get to know my neighbours, especially you Natsu." She laughed as Natsu grinned ear to ear, knowing well where he got that amazing smile from. What she didn't know was that a particular person was watching from inside her house and didn't like where it was going.

-Time Skip-

"Grandine, where are the fruits?" Grandine's ears perked when she heard Weisslogia ask for the fruits.

"Since when did you eat fruits?' She smirked at his face.

"I always eat fruits when you have them, I just don't buy them for myself that's all." He whined.

"I have to buy some; I have to do some shopping today, would you like to come with?" She offered

"Sure, I would like that very much." He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. He brought her in for a passionate kiss and spun her around. She giggled at his actions, wondering what had gotten into him.

"We don't have to go shopping right away, right? Let's watch that new movie I got for us." Grandine was surprised at his enthusiasm but didn't mind it at all either. She popped some popcorn and grabbed some soda from the fridge for a little movie together time. She had been wanting to watch this classic movie for a while now and she was getting chance with her amazing boyfriend. The main actor instantly reminded her of Igneel and she knew that if she mentioned it, he would have a cow about it; so she let it go and kept thinking to herself that Igneel would enjoy this movie and they should it sometime.

Before she knew it, she was in Weisslogia's lap and completely wrapped in his arms so she couldn't get away from him. He adjusted himself and laid her down on his chest and began stroking her hair; she was melting into his touch and was losing all sense in her mind what would happen if she did. She couldn't help herself but look up at him and see his bright smile and fell right then and there; there was no turning back when she kissed him, moving forward from that point was inevitable.

-Time Skip-

Grandine walked out of the house, thinking about what happened between her and Weisslogia the week before; she grabbed the mail, seeing Igneel and Natsu hanging outside, playing in the mud. She walked over to them with her mail in her hand sifting through the stack of bills and letters.

"Hey guys, whatcha doin'?" Grandine sat down next to Natsu, she had come to love the little boy. She couldn't put her finger on why someone would want to leave the little boy; he was energetic, creative and handsome, his mother had to be fool to leave them. She couldn't help but find herself fall in love with Igneel even though she was with Weisslogia. Grandine felt different when she was with Igneel; she felt safe and protected with him but Weisslogia was the adventure of her life.

"What do you have there miss Grandine?" Natsu looked at the stack in her hand.

"It's just some mail, I have to go through it but I feel lazy to do it." Grandine chuckled as she looked down at the papers. She felt the urge to look through her mail and started flipping through the envelopes only to find one from Weisslogia. She smiled and looked at Igneel who was raised one eyebrow.

"What's the good news, huh? What are you smiling about, young lady?" She smiled at his comment, she had learned that he was five years older than herself but she didn't discriminate, Igneel was an older version of Natsu in every way.

"It's a letter from Weiss; he doesn't do letters but he has been acting weird for a little while now." Grandine ripped open the letter and began reading. Her heart sank to her stomach, she couldn't believe what she had just read.

"What's wrong? Your face feel to the ground" Grandine let the letter drop and let her tears fall; Igneel quickly grabbed the letter and read its contents.

"'I'm sorry Grandine but we aren't working out, our time together was fun and amazing but I feel we shouldn't see each other anymore. Regards, Weisslogia.'" Igneel crumpled the letter and pulled Grandine into a tight hug, squeezing her. Natsu got up and sat in her lap and hugged around her belly as far as his hands could stretch around her.

She looked down at the little boy and the way he held her made her feel wanted and loved, the only way Weisslogia didn't make her feel. She thought to herself as Igneel stroked her hair, this was what she wanted and she needed and thought that maybe she shouldn't waste tears on a man that didn't love her the way she deserved to be loved. She would move on and make due with what she had.

"Look Grandine, he's a jerk and you don't need him around; you've got us and we'll be right here when you need us, right Natsu." Igneel looked at her and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"I know that and I'm glad that I have people like you in my life." She hugged Natsu and leaned into Igneel's hug, feeling him kiss the top of her head. She looked up at him and smiled, returning the favor and giving him one on his cheek leaving pink lip marks on him. She could tell that they would be good for each, she could also feel herself fall in love with Igneel Dragneel.
