Ch.23

I woke up in my bed and saw Matt next to me.

I sat upwards and looked at my phone. There was a text from Cameron.

Cameron☻- Good morning. Remember to be tough during this day(; ily

Cameron, that won't be too hard.

Me- I need to talk to you at school. Ily2

I then turned off my phone and looked at Matt. His lips were partly opened and his eyes were shut. I smiled at how he looked.

I bent over and kissed him on the cheek which made him wake up.

A smile grew on his face when he saw me.
"Good morning." He said with a sleepy, raspy voice.

"Morning." I said and hopped out of bed.

It was still Thursday so we had to get ready for school.

I looked at Matt who hasn't gotten out of bed yet.

"Matthew, we need to go to school. Get up!" I said and shook the bed a little.

"No." He said and shoved a pillow in his face.

"Okay, no kiss then." I said and started walking towards my closet.

Matthew then jumped out of bed and ran over to me and kissed me.
"I'm up." He said.

I laughed a little.
"Okay for real though, go get dressed." I said pointing to the bathroom.

He threw his head back and sighed.
"Yes honey." He said walking into the bathroom.

I changed out of my pajamas and out on some skinny jeans and then for my shirt I decided to wear a chevron top. I also walked into the bathroom after Matt was done and straightened my hair.

Right when I finished, Matt walked up to me and kissed me. He took a picture of us kissing and it was actually adorable.

He then posted it on Instagram. The comment said.
"@avalinley is kinda mine.♡"

I then grabbed Matt's hand and we walked to school.

When we walked into school, I saw Nicole.

Her jaw practically fell to the floor when she saw me and Matt. I gave her a look that said. "I'll explain later." And she continued walking on.

When I showed up to my locker, I saw that Cameron was there. He looked at me and Matt.

He didn't look thrilled.

"Morning Cameron." I said as Matt stood there with me.

"Morning." He said glancing at Matt.

"Hey, Matt. Didn't you wear those clothes yesterday?" Cameron asked.

Since Matt kinda slept over last night, he didn't bring a change of clothes with him so he just decided to re wear what he wore.

"Uh, yeah. Didn't have time to think about changing." He said with a laugh.

Cameron nodded his head. Not amused.

"Okay Cameron, I'll talk to you later okay?" He nodded his head as I walked into class with Matt.

Molly didn't show up at school today so Matt said he was going to explain what happened to her later today.

Towards the end of the day, Matt walked home because I had to explain to Cameron what had happened with Matt and I.

Cameron took me to my house and he came inside.

"Ava, please explain to me what happened with you and Matt." He said sitting on the couch.

"Cameron, don't be mad okay.

Last night after school, Matt came over here to apologize. I tried to stay firm and not except his apology. Then, while I was yelling at him, he kinda kissed me."

Cameron sighed.

"Why was Matt actually wearing the same clothes today Ava. Please don't tell me what I think it is."

"He kinda didn't go home last night. He stayed here."

Cameron's jaw clinched.

"Where did he sleep?"

I didn't answer. I began to play with a bracelet on my wrist.

"Ava, I asked where did Matt sleep?"

"In my bed. But we didn't go completely all the way Cameron!" I told him.

"Ava! Just yesterday you were crying over him and now he slept with you?" Cameron started tearing up.

"I'm sorry okay, I know I'm risking it but, he's worth the risk."

Cameron put himself together.
"Okay, if you're happy I'm happy. But if he ever even causes you one tear, I might say I told you so."

I laughed a little.
"Thank you Cameron for understanding."

"No problem." He said.

"But did you actually like, you and Matt-" I cut him off.

"Don't worry. I will not be pregnant! We didn't got that far goodness gracious Cameron!" I said.

He laughed.
"Okay, that makes me feel better." He said.

I gave him a hug and then he left.

Everything is back to normal.
