Ch.24

The next morning it was Friday.

I rolled out of bed and heard my phone go off.

I picked it up and saw a text from Matt.

I missed getting those texts.

Matt♡- Good Morning my lovely girl.

Me- Good Morning Matthew(:

For school, I decided to wear my all black skater dress with a statement necklace and some black flats.

I straightened my hair and twisted the bangs back. For my makeup, I just did eyeliner and mascara. I then grabbed a granola bar and walked out the door for school.

When I arrived, I saw Matt by my locker. He was wearing a navy blue tee shirt with some khakis and vans. His hair in the usual quiff.

I walked towards him as he gave me a peck on the lips.

"Hey cutie." He said and smiled.

"Hello Matthew." I answered and blushed.

I will never get over the fact of someone complementing me.

I shut my locker and Matt took my hand and we walked to class.

"Are you busy tonight?" He asked me.

I shook my head.
"Nope. Why?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to just come over and chill."

"Sounds good!" I answered him.

He smiled and then class began.

Toward the end of the period, Nicole walked up to me.
"Hey, are you free tonight?"

"Actually, I'm not. Matt asked to hang out. I'm sorry!" I told her.

She sighed.

"What?" I asked her.

"I just am not too sure about Matt that's all. He really hurt you and i didn't take long for you all to hang out again."

"I know you're just trying to protect me but trust me. I'm fine." I answered her.

She nodded her head as we walked into our different classes.

Towards the end of the day, Matt met me by my locker.
"Hey, how was your day?" He asked me.

"Pretty good. Yours?"

"Eh, I'm at school so, I guess as good as school gets." He said. I laughed a little.

"Oh come on, school isn't that bad." I told him and we walked towards his car.

"That's what you say Ms. 4.0 GPA."

"Whatever Matt." I said and smiled.

He opened the door for me and I got in the car. When he turned on the radio,
Blank Space by Taylor Swift began to play and I started to sing. Matt did to just for the fun of it.

When we got to his house, I walked in the door and sat at the table and pulled out my homework.

"Ugh, more homework?" He said and handed me a water.

"Yes Matt, school requires homework. Now get yours out."

"Ugh, fine." He said and sat down next to me and pulled out a couple of crinkled papers.

After about 5 minutes, Matt hadn't said anything yet. It was really shocking me! He was actually doing his homework!

Randomly while I was about to finish a geometry problem, Matt interrupted my thoughts and kissed me.

I was short and sweet. But still nice.
"What was that for?" I asked him while smiling.

"I just felt like it. I'm going to kiss you as much as possible so you better get used to it." He said and kinda laughed.

I shook my head and gave him another small kiss and finished the rest of my homework.

After another hour, it was getting late.
"Matt, I should probably go. My mom might be wondering where I am." I told him and picked up my bag.

"Ugh, are you sure you can't stay longer?" He told me and did a pout face.

I looked at the clock. It was only about 8:30.
"Okay, just a little longer." I said.

He grinned.
"Yay! Are you hungry?"

"A little." I answered. The truth was that I was starving. I could eat a whole cow.

"Pizza?"

"Sounds good!" I told him and sat my bag back down.

After about 30 minutes, our pizza arrived. He decided to just get cheese because it was an easy compromise.

It smelt amazing. He opened the box while I grabbed us some plates. I grabbed 2 slices and he grabbed 3.

It only took me about 10 seconds to eat my pieces. I was still hungry so I decided to grab another.
"Man, slow down girl!" He said.

I laughed a little.
"I'm sorry I was hungry! And pizza is the best." I said taking another bite.

He nodded his head and grabbed another slice.

Once we finished, we sat down on the couch. It was now 9:45.
"Matt, I really should get going." I told him.

"Awh, but it's Friday and I will be home alone!" He said.

"I'm sorry Matt but my mom might get worried and be a little mad if I stayed at your house tonight."

"I stayed over at your house the other night!"

"She doesn't know that yet Matthew." I told him.

"I thought your mom liked me?"

"She does, but she doesn't trust you. If I stayed here she would think that you would have gotten me pregnant." I said.

"Oh come on!" He said and kinda laughed.

"Sorry Matt! She just is paranoid!" I said while laughing.

"Look, let me call my mom and I will see what I can do." I said.

Matt nodded his head.

I grabbed my phone and dialed my moms number.

I rang a few times until I heard her pick up.
"Hello?"

"Hey mom! Just to let you know, I might sleep over at a friends."

"Oh okay, Nicole's?"

I paused.
"Yeah, I'm with Nicole. I will see you tomorrow okay?"

"Okay honey love you."

"Love you too!" I said and hung up.

I looked at Matt.
"Do I look like Nicole to you?" He said and laughed.

"Sorry Matt! This will probably back fire on me but,"

He then began to smile.
"What?" I asked.

"You're just so cute! I love you!"

I blushed.
"You're too sweet." I said and leaned in for a kiss.

When I let go, Matt ran upstairs and grabbed some of his clothes for me to sleep in. I changed into them and then snuggled up next to him on the couch.

We turned on Mean Girls because he was nice and decided to watch a movie that I wanted to watch.

Soon, I was getting sleepy.
Matt grabbed my chin and brought my head up to look at him.
"Why so sleepy?" He said.

"I don't know. I'm just cozy." I said and smiled.

He brought his lips to mine and kissed me. Again, it was short and sweet but I loved it.

When he let go, I smiled and laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I felt him lightly kiss the top of my head before I fell asleep and whisper,
"Goodnight beautiful."
