I was so excited that Matt picked up Chick-Fil-A for me! It is absolutely amazing!

When we got to his house, Matt and I walked into his door while I was holding the food bag in my hand.

When we walked in, I sat my at down and Matt grabbed a blanket while he was holding our lemonades.

"Why the blanket?" I asked.

"We are going to go outside and eat our food."

I felt a smile come to my face.
"Really? Yay! You are being extra friendly today." I told him as we walked out his back door towards his backyard.

I was so happy it was finally getting warmer. Besides fall, summer was my favorite season because I could enjoy the weather.

When we walked out, Matt laid the big red blanket flat on the soft grass and handed me a paper plate with my lemonade.

I sat down with my legs criss-crossed and opened up the bag. I took out my #1 meal and gave Matt his #4.

We sat there and ate your chicken sandwiches.

"This is really yummy." I told him and took a sip of my lemonade.

Matt nodded his head and took the final bite of his sand which. I looked down at the food I had left.

Man, I eat really slow.

I took another small bite of my sandwich as Matt stole one of my french fries. Sooner than later, I had finally finished my sandwich.

I looked up into the sky. The sun was setting so the sky was a pink and orange color. The sun was right in the middle of the trees. It was very beautiful.

"Man, the world is crazy don't you think?" I told him and looked into the sky.

"Very." He responded.

We looked at the sky until the sun began to completely go down. It was getting a little cold and I didn't have my jacket. Matt noticed and came closer to me and wrapped his arm around me.

I looked up at him.
"You seemed cold." He said with a smile.

I smiled back and leaned my head against his shoulder. We sat there for a while. I felt safe when I was with Matt. He made me feel special.

But I don't want to risk anything again.

We had to stay friends.

After a while of us just talking and hanging out, I decided that I had to go.

Matt got in the car with me and took me home.

When we pulled up to my house, Matt walked me to the door.

"Thank you Matt. I had fun tonight!" I said.

"Me too. We need to do that again some time."

I nodded my head. I gave Matt a quick hug and then walked inside.

I felt butterflies come over me when I hugged him. He made me feel so amazing.

This friend thing was going to be hard.
