Ch.16

I was a little upset that Matt forgot to pick me up, but sometimes things happen. I knew he was busy so I brushed it off.

I still had a ride home since Cameron found me.

Cameron is really nice! He has been a very nice friend to me. I wish Matt didn't hate him.

•next day•

When I woke up, I saw a text from Matt.

Matt♡- Good morning Ava. I love you."

I smiled. I loved it when he texted me in the morning.

Me-Good Morning. I love you more(:

I turned on some music and began to get ready.

I put on my all white lace top with some maroon colored jeans and my white flats. I waved my hair and put on some eyeliner and mascara. I looked my necklace that Matt had given me for my birthday and smiled at the sight of it around my neck.

I walked out the door and went to school. When I showed up, I saw Matt and some girl. I was guessing it was Molly.

She was gorgeous. Her long blonde hair looked like it came from a magazine and her long tan legs made her look like a model. She was wearing a cropped white sweater and dark skinny jeans that had lots of rips. When she looked at me, I saw her perfect smile and big amazing eyes.

I then looked at me. I looked like a baby nerd compared to her.

I walked up to them and Matt gave me a kiss on the cheek.

That made me feel better.

"Hey, Ava this is Molly." He said.

"Nice to meet you!" She told me and I shook her hand.

"You too." I answered. She seemed very outgoing unlike me.

"So, I have to take her to the office but I will see you soon okay?" She told me.

I nodded my head and he walked away
with Molly.

I could feel jealously come over me. I will try my hardest not to show it.

I didn't see Matthew the rest of the day.

Not at lunch, not in class, not even in the hallways.

I was guessing he was with Molly.

When it was the end of the day, I waited by my locker for Matt.

5 minutes.

10 minutes.

15 minutes.

Then 20 minutes.

He forgot about me again.

I left my locker and started to walk home. I could feel tears starting to come in my eyes. I then felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turned around and saw Cameron. Not Matt.

I wiped my eyes and looked at him.
"Oh, uh, hey Cameron." I said.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He told me while putting his arm around me.

"Nothing, just going home." I told him trying not to act upset.

"Where's Matt?" She asked me.

I nodded my head and felt a tear hit the floor.
"I don't know." I whispered.

"Oh, Ava, here let me take you to my place and you can tell me all about it." He told me and hugged me.

"Okay." I said and we walked towards his car.

If this isn't embarrassing I don't know what is.

When we reached Cameron's house, he opened the door for me and took my bag.

When I walked in, his house was very nice. He had family pictures on the wall and a dark brown leather couch with a flat screen tv. He told me to sit down while he went to grab us some waters.

"Your house is very nice." I told him when he came back with a bottled water for me.

"Thank you. Now, tell me what happened." He told me while he opened his water.

"Well, Matt has been asked to show a new girl around school which I was fine with. Then, I saw her. She is tall, tan, and really pretty. Ever since she has gotten here, I've been invisible. When ever she is around, I'm don't seem to be there anymore. And know he has forgotten to take me home twice and I know it's because of her. I don't know it just makes me upset." I said.

I wiped a tear from my eye before it fell.

"Look, if Matt has been doing this, I would seriously confront him. He needs to know how you feel. What he is doing is not right. Plus, this girl probably sucks compared to you." He said.

I laughed a little bit.
"Thanks Cameron. I will. I'm sorry I'm probably over reacting but this is my first relationship and I guess I'm just paranoid."

"You're not overreacting. He is just being dumb." He said.

I nodded.
"Thank you Cameron for helping me." I told him.

"I'm here for you." He said and smiled. I gave him a hug and then left.

Well, I will have to talk to Matt tomorrow.
