Ch.38

When I woke up, I looked and saw that I was in Matt's arms. I smiled and wiggled out of his grip.

I looked at him when I got out of bed. His lips were slightly parted and letting out small snores. I smiled and then shook his arm a little bit.

"Wake up sleepy head! Time to get ready for school." I said.

"Ugh, no." He said and shoved his face in the pillow.

"Oh come on Matthew! Please!" I said and shook him again.

"I need a kiss if you want me to get up." He said.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"If that is the only thing to get you up." I said and walked over to him.

I leaned down and gave him a short kiss.

"Now, you need to get up." I said.

He smiled and got out of bed while I walked towards my closet.

I decided to wear a black shirt that was fitted with a tribal printed skirt. I straightened my hair and then put on a little bit of eyeliner.

While I was putting on my eyeliner, Matt walked towards me.

"You don't even need any makeup gorgeous." He said and wrapped his arms around me.

"Matthew, you're just being kind." I said and smiled.

"Also truthful!" He said.

I giggled and grabbed my bathroom and walked downstairs with Matthew.

I grabbed Matt's hand and we walked out to his car.

When we got in, we quickly drove to school.

When we showed up, I walked up to my locker.

"So, how do you think this day is going to go?" He asked me.

"Well, knowing that it stared out pretty nice, hopefully the rest will be the same." I said.

"Yeah. I feel pretty good." He said and smiled.

Then I saw Cameron and Nicole walking up to us.

Holding hands.

Man, what did I miss?

"Uh, hey guys." I said and then glanced at their hands.

"Hey!" They said at the same time then looked at each other.

"Did I miss something?" I said.

"Oh uh, yeah. Cam and I are dating now!" Nicole said.

"Since when?" I asked and smiled.

"Well, we became official a few days ago, but we have been talking for a while!" Nicole answered.

"Awe! I'm so happy, my two best friends are dating!" I said and clapped my hands together.

They kinda laughed.
"Okay, well I will see you all later alright?" I said.

"Okay!" They answered as me and Matt walked into first period.

"Well, that was a surprise." Matt said.

I laughed a little.
"You're telling me!" I said and sat down.

"At least I don't have to worry about Cam and you anymore."

I shook my head and began to clean out my binder for the end of the year.

Towards the end of class, Matt asked me a question.
"Can you hang out tonight?"

I thought about it. I really wanted to catch up with Nicole, but she was probably going to be with Cameron.
