When I woke up the next morning, Ava was in my arms. When I looked at her, she looked beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

Her brown hair was in a loose ponytail and some strands framed her face. Her eyes were closed letting me see her long lashes. Her lips were parted a little bit letting out little light snores. Unbelievably beautiful.

I pushed some hair out of her face and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I guess she was awake. When I kissed her a small grin came to her face. Her eyelids opened allowing me to see her beautiful brown eyes.

"Morning gorgeous." I told her.

"Good Morning." She said with a sleepy voice.

"Did you sleep good?" I asked her as she stretched.

"I slept very well." She answered me.

"Do you want to go get some breakfast?"

She nodded her head and I got up.
She wobbled out of my bed and her feet curled when they hit the wood floor. I walked towards her and picked her up.
"Matt what are you doing?" She asked me.

"You look sleepy and I don't want you to fall down the stairs!" I answered and we left the room. She giggled a little and wrapped her arms around my neck.

When we went down there, I sat her down in the chair and grabbed two bowls to make us some cereal.

"Ah, today is not going to be good." She told me.

"Why's that?" I asked her taking a bite of my cereal.

"Well, since I ran out last night my parents might be just a little upset with me."

"Oh, I'm sure they will be understanding."

"Yeah doesn't really sound like them." She answered me.

"Well, if anything goes wrong, come on back here."

She smiled and handed me the bowl of cereal.

"I gotta go okay but, thank you for letting me stay here last night." She told me and gave me a hug.

"No problem. I'm always here you know that."

She looked up at me and kissed my lips.
"I'll talk to you later." She said and walked out the door.

I know what I had to do.

•later that night•

I put on a black tee shirt with some khakis and some vans. I got in my car and drove to Ava's house to talk to her parents. I need to explain to them how special she is to me.

When I showed up, I saw that they were home and knocked on there door. After about a minute, someone opened the door. It was Ava's dad.

"Matthew. What are you doing here?" He asked me.

"May I come in. I need to talk to you and Mrs.Linley." He looked at me and moved so I could get in.

"Hayley, Matthew is here." He told Mrs.Linley.

She walked out looked at me.
"Hello Mrs.Linley. May I talk to both of you?" I asked them.

They nodded there heads and sat on the couch.

"What is it Matthew?" Mrs.Linley asked.

"I want to ask you about Ava and I. I really don't want to lose her." I told them. They looked at each other.

"Matthew, really we just don't think-" I cut them off.

"Can I explain to you why I really like your daughter?"

They nodded there heads.

"I really like your daughter because she is one of the most beautiful, intelligent, kind, and amazing girls I've ever met. And yes, I know I may not be the best influence on her but, she is an amazing influence on me. I will never hurt Ava. Also if some time I'm stupid and I make the wrong decision and I try to get her to do it too, I trust her that she will knock it out of me make me feel stupid. You have raised an amazing girl. Another reason why I really like Ava is that we are so different. And it works. We really care for each other and I want you to see that." I finished explaining. They looked at each other and sighed.

"Matthew, thank you for bringing that to our attention. Thank you. We appreciate how much you care for Ava. Now, I think that it would be okay to give you another chance. But if you ever, make Ava get into trouble, it will be the end. Understand?" Her dad told me.

A smile grew to my face.
"Yes yes, I understand. Thank you so much." I stood up and shook there hands.

"No, thank you Matthew. Now have a good night." They told me and I walked out the door.

I went to my car and couldn't stop smiling. Yes! Ava is mine! I then felt my phone vibrate.

My Girl- I heard your conversation. Thank you Matthew. You're the best.:)

Me- I couldn't handle not being able to officially have you.

My Girl- now you do:)

She answered and I smiled. I think I'm in love with Ava Grace Linley. No, I don't think. I know.
