Ch.35

I woke up the next morning and instantly smiled remembering what happened last night.

I was back with Matt.

It made me happy to say that.

It was Memorial Day, so we didn't have school. I grabbed my phone and looked at the time.

10:10.

I slid open my lock screen checked through all of the social media sites.

Once I finished, I got out of my bed and turned on some music. Reflection by 5th Harmony came on and I began singing it.

The song was very cocky but I really liked it! I brushed my teeth and walked down stairs to get some breakfast.

Right before I poured my bowl of cereal, I heard a knock at the door.

I was worried to see who it was. I hadn't dressed out of my polka dot pajama pants and my baggy grey tee shirt.

I walked towards the door and opened it up a little.

I then saw Matthews smile. I opened the door to see all of him.

He was wearing khakis with a navy blue shirt that had an Aztec design on it. His hair was pushed up in the front and he was smiling.

"Good Morning Beautiful." He said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Good Morning Matthew! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you would like to go on a breakfast date with me?"

"Ooh, that sounds wonderful! Let me go get ready Mr.Espinosa!" I said as Matt came in and took a seat on my couch.

I walked up to my bedroom and picked out some light wash denim shorts with a white floral shirt that was flowy. I put my hair half up and half down then slid on on pink flats. I walked into the bathroom and quickly applied my eyeliner and mascara.

I checked the time.
11:00.

Man, I did good! Matthew only had to wait fifteen minutes!

I walked back down and saw him on my couch looking at his phone.

"Ready cutie?" He said.

I felt myself blush.
"Ready!"

He grabbed my hand and we walked to his car.

When we got in, Matt turned on the radio. See You Again by Wiz Khalifa began to play.

I really loved this song. Matt did too since it mixed two of our favorite music types together. Matt sang the rap part and I sand the chorus. We had fun singing it together.

Soon, we reached a restaurant call Josie's Café.

I had never been here before but it was a cute small breakfast café.

We walked in and found a table for two. There was a vase with little white daisies in the middle of our table. They were super pretty!

Soon, our waiter came by to take our orders. I decided to get the strawberry waffles and Matt got the pancakes with extra syrup.

"Matt, this place is really nice! I love it."

"I thought you would. You seem to have a liking for cute little things so, I thought of here."

I smiled.

"So, are you ready for summer?" I asked him.

"It is exactly 10 days till summer break and I can't wait much longer!" He said with a smile.
