Over the next few weeks things got slowly back to normal. Well as normal as they would be. I had stopped sitting with my brother and our friends and sat with Paul and Jared away from everyone else. I helped Paul keep calm when other students would piss him off.
Mostly David Fleming. He used to be good friends with Paul. It also didn't help that David had been bugging me about going on a date with him. He even tried to trap me in a classroom. Paul broke down the door when he heard me yell for David to stop and let me go. When Paul and Jared walked into the classroom David looked terrified as he let me go. I ran to Paul and Jared. Jared being the one to hold me.
"Come near her again and your mom will need to identify your body at the county morgue." Paul said with a growl before grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the classroom. "Are you ok little wolf?" He asked, I nodded my head not being able to find my voice. Paul stopped and turned to face me.
"Jules...Julia Nichole Black? Did he..." Paul asked in a stern voice looking extremely concerned at me.
"I'm fine... Just a little shaking up that's all! He didn't touch me that way!" I told him. I could tell that he didn't believe me. About being ok.
"Yeah! I am calling Sam to come and get you. You are going home! Or at least over to his place." Jared says as I only nodded my head.
"What did he say to you?" Paul asks, cupping my face and making me look at him. Jared was on the phone with Sam or my dad. I wasn't sure which one.
"That since I was a part of this new cult that you and Jared are in. That I should be willing to put out for everyone that wants to have a taste!" I said as Paul started to shake really bad. He pulls me into a hug and kisses my head.
"Don't worry I will take care of him! He will never come near you again." He says into my hair. I was fighting back tears when my brother, Embry, and Quil walked up to us. They all look at me concerned.
"You ok Jules?" Embry asks as I just nod my head at him. Jake looks at me concerned as I know I have a few tears running down my face.
"You sure?" Jake asks as I nod my head again not wanting to let go of Paul.
"Yeah! I am fine!" I say as Jared whispers something to Paul.
"Hey Sam is on his way to come and get you!" Jared says, making Jake look at him pissed!
"Why is Sam coming to get my sister?" Jake asks with anger to his voice.
"I'm not feeling all that well... So dad is sending Sam to come and pick me up and take me home since dad is out with Harry today!" I say, not wanting him to know what almost happened to me. Jake looks at me again and then at Paul and Jared.
"I will walk her to the front of the school." Jake says as Paul tightens his hold on me.
"No! Embry and Quil can do that. We need to talk to you!" Jared says as Paul sighs and I shake my head. Paul kisses my head again. Embry walks over and takes Paul's spot.
I watch as Embry holds my little wolf in his arms. We all know that they like each other but are scared to make a move. Jake looks at us annoyed as we wait for them to be out of sight before we tell Jake what just about happened to Jules. "What the hell is going on?" Jake yells, breaking my and Jared's attention from Jules.
"David just tried to attack Jules in an empty classroom." I say as I try not to phase in front of him. But I was still pissed that he had the balls to try that with her or any girl for that matter.
"Wait... What?" Jake says as he looks from us to where Jules was last seen.
"Look we get it you don't like us and we don't really like you either. But keeping Jules safe is something we can all agree on." Jared says as Jake nods his head.
"We called your dad and told him what almost happened to Jules. He was going to have Sam pick her up and take her to his place until he gets home or you get home from school. We all don't want her to be left alone." Jared says as Jake nods her head.
"We get that you all think we are some cult and on drugs." I say as Jake looks at me shocked that I would bring that up. "But you know we would never hurt Jules. Not if we could help it." I say as Jake nods his head at us.
"Do you think she is going to be ok?" Jake asks, truly sounding concerned for his twin sister.
"She will need all of us to be there for her." I say as Jake nods his head at me.
"So until we know for sure that she is ok. We need to get along for her sake." Jake says as I nod my head in agreement with Jared.
"Ok!" Jake says before he jugs off to find Embry and Quil.
"Do you think she will be ok?" Jared asks as I nod my head.
"Yeah... She will with our help." I say as I turn and walk away determined to find David and beat the shit out of him. Jared laughs and follows behind me. I find him fast sitting with all the cheerleaders. I walk up and he looks scared.
"Paul man... I am sorry I shouldn't have..." He says as I punch him.
"If you ever come near Jules again I will kill you... This just makes me wonder how many other girls you have tried to rape or have raped!" I yell as all the girls look shocked.
"OH! Please... We all know you have something going with her. You just don't want to share" He says as Jared steps up this time and hits him.
"She is like my little sister! I would never do anything with her and ruin what we have. I may be a lot of things, but everyone I have been with was willing. Can you say the same?" I say/ask as he looks at me shocked. "Jared and I found her after her mother was killed. We have looked out for her since that day. She is family to us." I say as David looks at me ashamed.
"Come anywhere near her and we will kill you!" Jared says with a growl. I nod my head
