4.1 Eye Rolling

I rolled my eyes as I opened the invitation that was addressed to me and Embry. I scoffed as I read that it was for Edward and Bella's wedding. There was even a note attached to it.

I know we haven't gotten along and that is all on me. I wasn't the nicest to you and your sisters. I am sorry for what I have done to you in the past. I know that doesn't make up for anything but I hope one day we can be friends. I hope you can make it to the wedding Edward and I would really like it if you would come and show support.

I scoffed as I threw it in the trash. Jake stood there frozen as he held his. Our father looked at him sad. "She really is full of herself." I said as Jake started to shake.

"She said she was leaving him!" He said and I looked at him confused. "That was why she came over a few days ago. She told me she was ready to be with me and we..." He said and I knew what they did. I shook my head as he stormed out of the house. I tried to stop my father from going after him. But he still did. When my father made it back inside I was frowning at him.

"He will come back." He said and I nodded my head. But I needed to do something. I needed to make this right for him. I grabbed my keys and left the house. My father called for me but I was pissed. Bella was going to get a piece of my mind. I drove to the Cullen's house where I knew she would be. She smiled at me as she and Edward came walking out. Edward frowned at me before looking at Bella. He let go of her hand and I smiled.

"Do you want to explain to me why you slept with my brother while you are with your vampire?" I asked and Bella frowned at me. She looked at Edward but he was shaking his head at her. She fiddled with her hands before she looked back at me. "Seems kinda sluty!" I said as she shook her head at me.

"I never meant for that to happen." She said and Edward looked pissed.

"Was telling him that you were leaving Edward and were ready to be with Jake not meant to happen?" I asked as I was starting to get really pissed. More members came out of the house. "I mean why would you do that? What the fuck is wrong with you? I mean do you not have a heart or is it that you are just a greedy slut that you have to have both from the monster world?" I asked as Edward walked away and his brothers followed him.

"He said if I stayed with Edward that he didn't want me in his life. I need him in my life. I can't lose him. He is my best friend." Bella said and I rolled my eyes at her.

"No matter how much pain you cause." I growled at her. "You are just like your father. Only think about what is best for you!" I hissed at her as Rosalie moved over to me. "Stay away from my brother! You come near him or my pack again and the treaty is off!" I yelled before getting back into my truck.

"There really is something wrong with you!" I heard Rosalie say before she took off the same way Emmett, Jasper and Edward had gone. I could see Bella break down crying. By the time I got home the pack was there and my father was on the phone.

"I can't say I am sorry! She was playing with my son's feelings. It's not my fault that Jules will stand up for her brother." My father said as I walked over to Rachel who looked pissed. "Well then she shouldn't have slept with my 16 year old son!" Dad screamed. "Yeah you heard me right your daughter took advantage of my minor son." Dad yelled again before slamming the phone down. Embry walked over to me and hugged me.

"We tried to go after him. But he begged us to leave him alone." He said and I shook my head.

"The wedding is off. I guess after you left Edward called it off saying he can't trust her if she is still playing with Jake's feelings." Dad said and I nodded my head. He looked at me sad and I sighed.

"I didn't handle it well but I refuse to stand by and watch her hurt him more and knowing now what happened between them... I was seeing red. I wasn't going to let her hurt him more and not let her hurt a little." I said and my father nodded his head.

"It is ok. You were looking out for your brother." He said and I nodded my head. I still felt his pain and I didn't like it. I wanted to hurt her more.

'Thank you!' I heard inside my head.

'I am sorry, you are in pain. Just know that I will always look out for you as you are my brother and I do love you!' I said back but it was quiet. I know I wouldn't be hearing from him for a while. Embry rubbed my back knowing that I could feel his pain.

'He will be ok. Jake is strong." He said as he wrapped his arms around me. I sighed as I let Embry hold me. I knew he was right but it still didn't help that my twin was in pain and I couldn't do anything else to help him. "How about me and you go to the beach?" He asked and I nodded my head. A quiet day sounded nice. Especially after the morning we were having. He took my hand and nodded to Sam and my father. They both nodded back. He walked me outside and down to the beach. We sat on the sand as we watched the water.

"A storm is coming!" I said and Embry sighed.

"And a fight." He said and I nodded my head. "Carlisle let slip that there is a coven that wants Bella dead." He said and I rolled my eyes for the millionth time today alone.
