4.12 Against each other

I was pissed that Jake had let it slip mine and Bella's plan. If only that mut could have kept that bitch out of his damn head. Everything would have worked out. Now we had not only this pack but others coming for us and my family was pissed at not only me but Bella as well. I shook my head as I tried to hand my daughter over to Rosalie. She was the most pissed at me and Bella. Emmett glared at me any time I walked into the same room as him and Alice wouldn't even talk to me. "Bella will be awake soon!" I said as I tried to hand Renesmee over to Esme. She looked at her before shaking her head and walking away from me. "Look I know you are all mad at me. I get it what we did was wrong. But Bella can't be around our daughter. She will kill her." I said in a pleading tone.

"We aren't going to help you any more Edward. You have caused enough damage to this family!" Carlisle said and I shook my head as I tried to read his thoughts. They were all over the place. But his main focus was how to keep the rest of them alive. He wasn't including Bella, Renesmee or myself in his plans. "You need to figure this out on your own!" He said as he too left the room. It had been the new thing for them to all do.

"Bella only has maybe a few hours or a day before she wakes up! I won't be able to do this on my own!" I said to everyone but no one. I looked down at our daughter and I could tell she was sad. Her family had turned their backs on her because of what her mother and I had done. She missed Jake.

"Rosalie, Please!" I said as she walked back in to get her book. Her wrist had yet to heal so she had it wrapped in a bandage.

"I should have known better than to ever believe anything that came out of the whores mouth." She said and I hissed at her which caused Renesmee to cry. I tried to shh her but she kept crying.

"Please I am begging you to please help me with her!" I said as I tried to hold out Renesmee to her.

"I am sorry, Edward. But I am not going to help you! I should have never been focused, to do so in the first place. But you had to know her. This is all happening because of you!" She said before she walked out of the room. I sighed as I tried again to calm my daughter down. She calmed down and finally fell asleep. I sighed as I was able to put her in her bed.

I sighed as I closed the door to my room and walked to Carlisle's office. He had been working on his plan to get out, in there with Emmett and Jasper. When I walked in they were all looking at a map. "If we can get out of Washington and farther north we might be able to lay low for a year or two." Jasper said and Carlisle and Emmett nodded their heads.

"I hate that we now have to hide." Emmett said and I sighed. Making them aware of my presents. "What do you want, Edward?" He hissed at me but Carlisle put a hand on his shoulder calming him down.

"I am sorry. This is all my fault!" I said hoping they would at least talk to me.

"No shit!" Jasper said with a hard glare. "Because of you all our mates are in danger." He hissed at me. I know how protective he is of Alice.

"I know and I am sorry. But I love Bella and I am happy with her. I just wish you could all understand that I was only doing what I thought was right!" I said and they all just glared at me. All of their minds screamed that they didn't believe me. That they blamed not only me for the newest problem but Bella as well. I sighed as I walked out of his office and over to the room that Bella was laying in. I shook my head as she was still all covered in blood in the same clothes she had given birth in. I sighed again as I started to clean her up.

"You know if you would have listened to me then none of this would have happened." I heard Alice say from the doorway.

"I was trying to keep our secret!" I said as I cleaned the blood from her neck. I kissed Bella's head before I continued.

"And yet she found out anyway. And you only made things worse. Everything that has happened is because of you!" She said and I nodded my head.

"She is your friend!" I said hoping she would at least help me when it came time to Bella waking up.

"She was my friend. That was until you both decided that our lives don't matter as much as yours!" She said and I looked at her shocked. "I had a little talk with Jules! She told me everything." She said as I just stood there and looked at her. I didn't know what to say to her.

"Alice!" I said as she shook her head before she walked away from me. I turned back to Bella and continued to clean Bella up. It was clear they all knew what we had done. It was clear we wouldn't be getting any help from them from now on. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell Bella that we had lost our family all because of us. All because we care more about ourselves than we do them. I did my best at making her the goddess I knew she was but it was nothing to what Alice, Rosalie and Esme would have been able to do!
