1.3 Another Wolf

I had heard that Jared had gotten into a fight. It surprised me as that was normally Paul. I went looking for Paul at lunch only to find him with one of the cheerleaders from the JV team. I think her name is Crissy. I rolled my eyes as she smirked at me. "You better hope you don't catch something from this one!" I say, making Paul laugh and move away from her.

"Now little wolf is that any way to talk to your big brother?" He says as She looks back and forth between me and Paul. I laugh and slap the back of his head.

"What happened?" I ask, making Paul sigh.

"Let's walk!" He says as he stands up and puts an arm around me. "I don't know how it started but from what I hear that dickless prick said something about Jared and his mom and Jared just lost it." Paul says as I sigh. I know Jared could handle people talking about him but you bring his mom or little sister into it and it is game over. "He got suspended for a week. He took off after that." Paul says as I sigh and shake my head.

"Alright, head back to your little toy... And I will see you later!" I say as Paul laughs and kisses my head.

"Love you little wolf!" Paul says before taking off back to his table. I shake my head and head over to Embry and Quil. Sit down next to Embry and he smiles at me.

"Why do you talk to him?" Jake asks as I just scoff at him.

"Why do you talk to Bella?" I ask, and boy does he look mad. I mean it is a fair question. He hates Paul and Jared as I hate Bella.

"Burn!" Embry says, making me and Quil laugh. Jake just looks pissed at all of us. "But she makes a good point. You hate Paul and Jared just like she hates Bella." He says as I nod my head at him and mouth thank you! He smiles at me and gives me a small nod.

"Shut up Embry!" Jake says, making me kick him under the table.

"Don't tell him to shut up when he clearly made a point." I say as I kick him again and he glares at me. I heard a howl, making me look around to see where it came from but it was like only me and Paul could hear it. Paul looks at me confused as I look at him the same way. I mouth, did you just hear that and he nods his head. It was weird that only him and I heard that howl. After lunch I knew I wouldn't see Paul until, last period. I was on edge the rest of the day.

When I walked out of class I found Paul waiting for me. "What the hell? How did no one else hear that howl?" I asked as Paul just shrugs his shoulders and bits his lip.

"I don't know little wolf!" He says as we walk off to the gym. I see the girl Paul was with earlier and she looks pissed. "Look, I'll see you after class!" He says as he heads into the boys locker room. I stand there confused.

"What is with you and Paul?" Crissy asks as she walks up to me with a few of her friends.

"Eww! Paul is like my brother! So EWW!" I say as I look at her in disgust.

"Then stay away from him! He is mine!" She says as she tries to push me. I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"Honey... I would watch how you talk to me. And the next time you try to put your hands on me I will remove them from your body!" I say pushing her to the ground.

"Little bitch!" She says as she starts to stand up.

"Who the hell are you calling a little bitch?" Paul asks as she looks at him shocked.

"Your little hoe bag wants me to stay away from you and tries to put her hands on me!" I say as Paull looks even more pissed.

"Paul! She is trying to take you away from me!" She whines as Paul starts to laugh at her.

"One: We aren't even together. Two: Eww! Sorry little wolf I love you but no! She is like my little sister And last but not least Three: I alway pick her over any girl in this school. The sooner you learn that the better." He says as he kisses my head and starts to walk away. "OH! And one last thing the next time you try to put your hands on her... I will make your life a living hell!" He says as Sammy the caption the varsity cheer squad stands there and laughs. "Sammy!" Paul says as she nods at him.

"Sammy!" I say as I walk up to her. She smiles at me and shakes her head.

"How do you have that boy wrapped around your finger?" Sammy asks as I smile at her.

"I am sweet and innocent and can kick his ass!" I say as Sammy just laughs at me. We hear Paul laugh as he stands with some of his friends.

"You wish, little wolf!" He says, making me stick out my tongue at him.

"Please we all know that you wouldn't fight me!" I say as I head into the locker room to change. Once I came out I headed over to Sammy and the rest of the squad. Crissy looks shocked that I would be with them instead of the jv class. We work on the route for the pep rally on friday that we will be doing with the JV team.

"Damn Paul, how have you not gotten with her yet?" I heard one of his friends ask.

"Dude! She is like my baby sister!" Paul yells as he pushes the guy away. "And if any of you go near her, Jared and I will kick your asses!" He says, making me laugh as I hide behind Sammy and the girls as he turns to glare at me. "And you Hell no! You're not doing that in front of the whole school." He yells, making me laugh even harder as I run back to the locker room. After we have all changed and started to leave for the day I was met with an upset Paul.

"OH! Come on Pauly! Most guys here are too scared of you to come near me!" I say as we walk out of school.

"Good they should be!" He says as we walk over to Jared's truck. "He left his key with me." Paul says as I look confused. I nod my head and get in. After Paul dropped me off at home, I went straight to my room to do my homework. After I was done with my homework I cooked dinner for dad and Jake as I needed to go for a run. I don't know what it was but I had so much energy.

I changed my clothes and headed out the back to run in the woods. It has always been the place I run and clear my mind. I was at my half way point when I heard a growl. I stopped and looked around only to see another wolf. Not as big as the black wolf but bigger than what a wolf should be. I sat down as it stopped growling at me.

"I won't hurt you!" I said as it cocked its head at me. "You are not as big as the other one but still big." I said as it stepped closer to me as the black wolf walked up to me and lay down. The brown wolf looks confused and concerned before he comes and sits next to me.
