I stood in front of the vampire coven that had destroyed so many lives. Broke so many families. "Now, who wants to tell us what happened to Charlie?" I asked and they all seemed to stiffen all but the little monster. "He hasn't been seen for over a week. And the last anyone heard from him he was headed to see his daughter and new grandchild." I said and Bella started to sob. This seemed to upset the monster.
"It's my fault. I feed from him!" It admitted, making Edward, to stand in front of her, in a protective way. "I didn't mean to hurt him. He just smelt so good! I only wanted a taste. But I couldn't stop." It said and this caused the pack to growl at her. "I am sorry! I didn't mean to hurt him. I loved him. He was my grandpa." It said and I just looked at Bella and Edward in disgust.
"You let that thing feed from your wife's father? What is wrong with you?" I growled at Edward. Who just gave me a sad smile. "It seems that it isn't the only monster in your coven, Carlisle." I said before turning to Edward. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked as he looked at me shocked.
"Please, you don't understand! She didn't mean to..." Bella said through her fake sobs.
"Understand? What is there to understand? You let that thing feed off of your father. I may have hated him but I never would have allowed that to happen to our father." I said as she seemed to get it all back together.
"She is our daughter! We have to protect her. She didn't mean to hurt him." She said and I laughed at her.
"No! You should have protected your father! Not the monster you and the leech created. Are you really that blind to not see what it is?" I said in a cold and deadly tone.
"Her name is Renesmee. Use it!" Edward growled at me but I paid him little mind.
"It's a monster! Created by you and this pathice thing standing next to you!" I said even colder than before. "But then again so are you!" I said as I looked him up and down. "God what does she see in you?" I asked, making the pack and Rosalie laughed. "I mean Emmett and Jasper I get. They at least have some muscle to them but you..." I said, shaking my head at him. At this point I just wanted to get under that cold skin of his. And it was working.
"Listen here! You stupid little bitch!" He growled at me as he took a step closer to me. Jake and Embry growled in warning.
"Edward, Stop! She is only doing this so they have a reason to fight!" Bella said and I laughed at her.
"We already have a reason. You monster already gave us what we needed." I said as Bella looked at me then to her daughter. "See Jake might have been able to allow you to be bitten but your offspring..." I said trailing off hoping that she would get it and she did.
"No! Please!" Bella yelled as she wrapped her arms around the little monster. "She didn't mean to do it! We will teach better." She said as she started to sob again.
"Your offspring took the life of a human. And with the treaty that means it must be killed!" I said as Paul and Sam stepped forward.
"Please!" Edward cried as I smiled at him.
"Sorry Edward... But we have to protect the innocent people that live on this earth. They mean more to us than that thing ever will." I said as I nodded to Sam. He was able to take only a few steps before Edward prepared to fight.
"Edward, don't!" Carlisle said but did little to stop him. This seemed to register in Edward's mind. I smiled as he just stood there not even looking at Edward.
"Are you really not going to stop me or them?" Edward asked. I smirked as Carlisle shook his head. "Carlisle, they are starting a war with our coven." Edward said, Making Carlisle shake his head again.
"No! I am not! And No they are not! They are starting a fight with you and Bella and that monster you have forced us to protect." He said and I laughed. "I told you this would happen. I told you that they would hold you all accountable for what happened to Charlie. We had no part of it. We even tried to stop it. But you, Edward. You let this happen. If you had listened none of this would have happened." Carlisle yelled as the rest of his coven stood behind him.
'Have you noticed that they are always split?' Seth asked and I nodded my head as I had.
'Pathice really!' Leah said and I nodded again. This caught Bella's eye.
"What are they saying?" She asked and I just smiled at her but didn't say anything. "Tell me what they said. I have a right to know." She screams. "Jake, you need to talk to me. So do what you have to do and talk to me!" She screamed again. I looked at my brother and he shook his head at her.
"It's Ok! Jake! Talk to her!" I said and he as well as everyone else looked at me confused. He nodded his head and walked away. Only to come back a moment later.
"Say what you need to say!" He said as he looked at Bella. She smiled at him but he didn't return it.
"You need to talk some sense into your sister. This won't end well for you and the pack. You know it!" She said and this made Jake laugh.
"She has over a dozen packs willing to give their lives to protect her. So why would this not go in our favor?" He asked and this seemed to piss her off. "Bella I am not sure what you are trying to get at but you need to get to your point. We do have lives and families we would like to get back to." He said and I just smiled at him. As I was the only one that knew about him imprinting on someone! Someone we all knew and loved.
