4.13 Understanding

It had been just over a day with the Cullens minus Edward. Asked for a meeting. They had made it clear that they did not want to fight but needed to know what Edward and Bella had done to earn all packs being called in to kill them. That was when Jake stepped up. Telling them everything that Bella had asked him to do. How she claimed to love him and still want to be with him and since he couldn't age this was her only way to be with him. But it was Edward that threatened to harm Recbeca. How he would do anything to protect his sisters. How he was wrong to blindly follow whatever Bella said.

Their leader looked disgusted as the other looked pissed. Jake knew that it was wrong to protect them but he had to keep his sister safe. He hated Bella and all she had done. He had only agreed to go and tell them to leave as he knew anyone else would have gone, Edward would have killed them starting a war that would have killed all of them. How Renesmee wasn't his imprint and he was disgusted with the three of them. How the thing had shown him things he would never allow.

"What did she show you?" The blonde asked as she clung to the big guy.

"She showed me who she was going to kill my sisters! One by one how she was going to drink their blood and then lay them at her mother's feet." Jake said as he shook his head. "This was after everything went down of course. But It made me see that she is a monster. Not some sweet baby, you all seemed to believe she is!" He said, making us all growl over at the Cullens clan. They of course look nervous.

"I am so sorry. We never want this to happen. I wish I had put my foot down with him. I should have stopped him sooner. We all saw the signs that this was coming. What she was really like." The leader said as we all agreed with him.

"I have called the packs off for the moment. But you all should really think about leaving. And never coming back. As you already know that our stories span from generation to generation. Future packs will be told to kill all of you!" Jules said and they agreed to finally leave.

But the one day of peace was nice. Jules was happier living with her grandma. And she knew all about the pack. Seeing as she too was an elder. She also let it slip that she disagreed with Billy on many of the things that had happened. Like us ever helping the Cullens. His inability to stop his friendship with the Swan family.

I was a little surprised when she asked where my things were. She told me that she would handle my mother and to go and pack as it was important for imprints to be together as much as possible. Paul and Rachel showed up later with all of their things. "Now! That is better! Two of my three girls under one roof." She said as she was in the kitchen cooking. Paul looked confused as Jules and Rachel just laughed. It was weird as she even wanted us to call her grandma.

"I am really confused!" Paul said and I nodded my head at him. I didn't get why it was so important to have us all stay here. We both knew that Rabecca, Rachel and Jules would spend time here when they didn't want to be at home or Billy was being an ass about Jake or Charlie.

"Let me explain!" She said as she came and sat down at the table with us. But that would have to wait as Billy called and asked to meet with Jules and Rachel. The girls left. "You all know how my daughter died." She said and both Paul and I nodded our heads. "But did you know that the original Luna was not from Billy's bloodline but from my daughter's and mine?" She said and this shocked us. We both shook our heads at her. "Yes... Jules comes from a long line of Luna's!" She said as her eyes turned that brilliant shade of blue. Paul and I sat there with our jaws on the floor.

I heard Rachel sigh as we approved the house. We both hated this house. It held so many yet so few memories of our mother. Jake opened the door for us to come in. "Dad, Jules and Rachel are here!" He yelled before taking a seat on the couch. Our father came out in his wheelchair with two books on his lap.

"Please sit!" He said but Rachel and I just looked at him.

"Just say whatever you need to say!" Rachel said and that kind of shocked me. I was the one that normally got mouthy. And this clearly shocked our father as well.

"Please!" He said and I sighed as I took a seat in the chair by the door. Rached took the arm of that same chair.

"There we are sitting!" She said, all snappy. This made me laugh and our father and Jake sigh.

"I wanted to start off by saying how sorry I am to you both. I..." He said but started to get a little teary eyed. "I haven't been the father you three girls had deserved. I have put my friendship with Charlie over you three. I allowed him to downplay Bella stealing your mother jeweler. I overlooked you girls for your brother more times than I should have." He said and Jake looked down at the ground.

"Can you get to the point!" I snapped at him.

"The point is that we are both sorry!" Jake said a little annoyed with us. "We both messed up!" He said and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, that is nice and all but sorry isn't going to cut it. You both fucked up way past sorry!" Rachel said and they both nodded their heads at us.

"You're right! That is why I wanted to give you both this. I sent Rebacc's out to this morning." Our father said as he handed each of us a book. "Your mother made them before she passed." He said as I opened my book. It was photos and letters from our mother. "She knew something bad was going to happen. I should have listened to you both!" He said as he looked right at me.

"This still doesn't make up for all you have done." Rachel said with a small sob being released at the end.

"It still doesn't make up for what you did!" I said as I flipped through the pages.

"I know but I hope this will be the start of me making it up to you!" He said just before the house phone started to ring. Jake answered it before he hung up.

"Bella's awake!" He said as he looked over at me. "And she is pissed!" He said with a chuckle.
