I shook with anger as I stood face to face with ruffle 17 vampires. Vampires that weren't the Cullens. "You brought blood drinking into our land?" Jake yelled as the rest of the pack started to growl. We knew something was up when we had five more join the pack.
"This isn't your land! According to the treaty..." Edward hissed at us.
"This has always been our land. Our great grandfather allowed you to live here because you all climbed to not be a threat to us or our people." I said, making Edward shut up. "You have always been on our land!" I said and Edward glared at me. "Now why are they here?" I asked as I looked to Carlisle for an answer.
"And when are they leaving?" Jake added as he sneered at all the vampires. It seemed that the new vampires didn't look all that happy to be there either.
"They are here to witness!" Bella said as she looked at Edward disappeared.
"Witness what?" Jake asked as he looked at Edward ready to fight. Edward gulped at his thoughts. I am not sure if it was Jake's or the whole pack but the fear that we all got to see might have made us a little smug.
"That Renesmee isn't a danger? That she isn't an immortal child." Bella said as she pushed Edward back to her monster.
"But she is!" I said, making Bella shake her head. "She killed your father! She is a danger!" I said and to my surprise many started to nod their heads in agreement.
"She isn't. She is just young. She is still learning." Edward said but I shook my head at him.
"She has to learn not to kill... it's human grandfather." I asked with a smirk. Many gasps came from the vampires behind them. Edward looked at me. His eyes wide. He quickly turned to the other vampires. They were all glaring at him.
"She speaks the truth!" A young looking vampire said as she looked at an older one.
"Edward, did you allow your child to kill your wife's father?" One of them asked.
"It was an accident." Edward said but the young vampire shook her head.
"That is a lie!" She said and that caused many to hiss at Edward. He looked back at Jake and I and hissed.
"You need to leave. Now!" Edward hissed but Bella slapped him.
"Stop it Edward. They could help!" Bella yelled. "Yes she killed my father. Yes Edward allowed it." She said as she sent Edward a glare. "But it wasn't her fault. Edward allowed it to happen. She is innocent, she is just a child. But you have all seen that she grows. That she is learning. That was why we asked you all here." She said as she looked at each and everyone of the blood drinking vampires.
"She is also spoiled and a brat." One said, making Edward glared at him. "We have all seen it. How she demands for all of our attention. Biting us if we refuse to give in to her. How she throws a fit that your former coven won't give into her." He said and Edward shook his head.
"Former coven?" I asked and the vampire nodded his head.
"Yes. Carlisle made it clear that Edward, his mate and that thing were no longer a part of the Olympic coven." He said and I nodded my head as I looked over at Sam.
"No!" Edward yelled. "You can't do that." He yelled as he took a few steps closer to us. But Carlisle stepped in front.of him.
"I made that treaty! You all agreed to follow the rules of that treaty as long as you were a part of my coven." He said as he didn't break eye contact with Edward. Edward shook his head. "You are not a member of my coven any more. And weren't at the time you allowed her to kill Charlie." He said and Edward hissed at him.
"What do you mean?" Bella asked as she looked from Edward to Carlisle.
"It means that we are not welcome here any more. That we are unwanted guests. That we are now the threat." He said and this made Bella look at Jake annoyed.
"Jake?" The thing said as she stepped out in front of Edward. "You wouldn't hurt me would you? I'm your mate!" It said and many shook their heads at her.
"You are not my mate!" Jake said as he looked right at Bella and glared. "You need to stop this Bella. Grow up! I never belonged to you. And I sure as hell don't belong to that thing!" He said and I nodded my head.
"Then will you stand with us?" Carlisle asked and I looked at Sam.
"What do you mean?" Jake asked as I continued to look at Sam.
"The Volturi are coming to kill myself and my family!" He said and I wanted to know more about these Volturi things. "They think we helped them pick out a child to turned." He said and Jake scoffed at that.
"You didn't do anything! But then that was the problem. You never stopped Edward" I said and Carlisle nodded his head. "But bringing that thing into this world wasn't yours." I said as I looked over at Bella.
"Will you stand next to me and my family!" He asked and I looked back at Sam. He nodded his head.
"Yes! But be aware that if this is a lie... The packs will attack!" I said as I looked only at Carlisle. Who nodded his head before getting the attention of the other vampires. We left and Jake was pissed.
"Why are we helping them?" He asked and I sighed.
"Because Carlisle is innocent in all of thes. The only one that isn't is the blonde! Since she helped Bella keep that thing." I said and Jake shook his head.
"She climbed it was mine and human." He confessed. I slapped the back of his head.
"Dumbass!" I said as I continued to walk away from him.
