Five years later, you either believe it or you don't. David and I fell in love spontaneously and moved in together.
I was now 22 and David was now 24 years old. Times flew by, put the time on silent!

David sat at a desk writing his lyrics. I knocked on the door where David was working. "Come in honey." I heard David say.

I opened the door with a tray of coffee in my hands. "Would you like some coffee honey?" I asked in a flirty voice. A smile began to appear on David's face. "Nice, I was looking forward to that!" Said David cheerfully.

David took the mug with coffee in it and stirred it. He yawned and looked at his text which he spent hours on.

"You've been writing since this morning, are you okay?" I asked. David smiled. "Sure I'm okay, just a little busy. You know, songs."

I nodded and gave David a kiss, "Alright, I won't disturb you anymore." I whispered. David grabbed my hand as he started to walk out of the room. "You don't bother me, baby." He says.

I smiled and looked at David with wide eyes. "Okay, enjoy your coffee baby." I said. David kissed me on the mouth.
"I will." He said. laughing.

When I left the room I went straight to the living room. I just went to watch some TV, what could I do on a rainy Sunday afternoon?

I turned on the television and zapped through thousands of programs with my remote.

All boring, but suddenly one program left me staring. It was about murder, why did I keep looking at that?

A woman shot a man to death, streets were empty and dark. The man fell to the ground with pain in his chest.

I quickly zapped to another program that was about animals, which I watched for over an hour.

Time, half past four in the afternoon.

David hadn't shown himself all afternoon. So I decided after an hour to check on him again, to see if he was ready yet.
I looked behind the door, it was getting dark in the room. It was quite quiet in the room. I heard light snoring noises passing by.

I chuckled, David had fallen asleep. I switched on the lamp that was on the desk where David was sitting.

He lay face down on the table, his pencil in his finger. "David?" I whispered. David woke up and turned his head. David made moaning noises.

I rubbed David's back. David lifted his head and rubbed his eyes. He looked at me sweetly.

"Do you want to go to bed?" I asked in a whisper.

David shook his head, "No, at once my eyes just closed. I didn't mean to fall asleep." David said as he put away his note with his important lyrics.

I ran my finger through David's blond long wild locks. "I'm going to cook dinner, if you want to come down?" I asked. David nodded and rose from his seat. "I'll help my baby." David said in a low voice as he hugged me.

I walked down the stairs, David walked behind me. "What do you want to eat then?" I asked. David thought and already sat down at the table, "I didn't even think about it." David said as he yawned.

I sighed and looked in the cupboard, "I still have rice, if you feel like it?" I asked. David looked at me uncomfortably. He wouldn't say he didn't want to.

I took my car keys from the pocket, held them up and jingled them. "McDonald's?" I said softly.
David immediately stood up. "Yeah, great! I'm looking forward to that."

Me and David put on the coat. We were in need of a nice meal.
Half an hour later, when we finally arrived at McDonalds.

"It's still not too crowded." I said as I got out of the car.

David took my hand. "I'm going to order." David said as he pulled his purse from his pocket.

We walked in and a wonderful smell of food we passed. "I'm so hungry." I said. "What are you in the mood for honey?" David asked, looking at the plate. I thought, "Hmm, hamburger?" I said. "Yes, I'll take that too." Said David with a laugh.

I went to find a table for the two of us. As I sat down I started to get more and more hungry.

David had finished ordering and came with a tray of Coke and burgers on it. "Destination reached, enjoy your meal." David said as he grabbed his burger. I licked my lips. "That looks good!"

"This is much, much better than rice, isn't it, honey?" Said David with a laugh. "But extra unhealthy." I replied with a wink.

I took a long sip of my Coke, I had eaten all my burger, it was a very large burger.

"I can't look at a civilian anymore." I said as I leaned back in the chair. "Too much, isn't it?" David asked with a full mouth. "Yes." I was ashamed.

David rubbed my arm and looked at me. "Heather doesn't feel like an ice cream anymore?" David asked teasingly again. I shook no. "You may be allowed to go on a diet, honey." I laughed.

"You're right, I'm pretty full myself now." Said David, rubbing his stomach. "I'm going to smoke an cigarette." I said when I stood up. "Hey, if you wait a minute, I'll smoke with you."

David threw away the tray of trash. "Do you have any cigarettes left?" I asked David. David pulled out a box of five cigarettes. "Look, is that a lot or is that a lot?"

We walked out. "Here baby." David said as he handed me a cigarette. "Thank's sweetheart." I smiled.

David lit my cigarette with his lighter. I took a long drag on the cigarette. "Ahh, I really like doing this." I sighed. David blew out smoke and threw an arm around me. "So do I, especially with you." He said romantically again.

A cold gust of wind blew through our hair. "Shall we go home?" I asked. David threw his cigarette on the floor and broke it off with his shoe. "Of course babe, it's late enough." David replied.

It was late and dark, when we headed home (We lived quite far away from the MacDonalds) there was a great long silence.

David yawned. "Did you sleep well at all last night? You look really tired all day." I asked. "I was only up a bit early this morning, I was already awake at six in the morning." Said David.

"If I'm being honest, I think you look really cute when you fell asleep while you were writing." I giggled as I sat behind the wheel.

David became a little speechless, "Did you really think that?" He asked softly. I nodded yes with a big smile, "Yeah, you even snored a little bit again." I laughed.

After about fifteen minutes we came home, it was quite late and I was already in bed. David had finished brushing his teeth and crawled into me. "Sleep well dear Heather, let's get up fresh and fruity tomorrow." David said as he kissed me.

"Sleep well, honey, we're going to have a good night's sleep." I said as I gave David a kiss back. We lay down and held hands tightly until we fell asleep.
