November, 29, 1986. *Half a year later.

I was highly pregnant, December 15th was my due date. My pregnant belly was bloated and about to burst.

Because I was pregnant with twins, I couldn't do anything anymore. I couldn't bend down, and I mostly had terrible nights without sleep.

We already had everything we needed for the twins, the room is ready, the twin pram had already arrived.
I could almost say, let the twins come.

I was lying on the couch with a blanket, unfortunately the doctors had said the twins could come a little earlier so I could give birth at any time...

"Are you okay, honey?" David asked when he wants to sit next to me on the couch. "A little, it's so heavy." I moaned.  David massaged my leg, "I know baby, I know, hold on a little longer and they'll be born."

Because it was still early in the morning and the twins were now about heavy as water melons, I was terribly nauseous.  Even worse than it was in the beginning.

I felt my stomach turn, I kicked the blanket off my legs and sat on the edge of the couch, "Are you feeling sick again love? Shall I take you to the bathroom?"  David asked concerned. I put my hand over my mouth, "Will you..." I whispered.

David grabbed my arm and hugged me and took me to the toilet. "I feel terrible." I grumbled, David massaged my back, "I understand darling, I hope you feel better soon."

Suddenly my breakfast popped up as I hung my face over the toilet, "Good, sweetie, good job, throw it all out!" Said David sweetly.

"I don't want this anymore, David." I said as I squatted down and wiped my mouth with a piece of toilet paper. "I can understand you so well, I think it's really terrible to see you like this!" David said as he held my waist tight.

I let tears fall between David's chest, if you have this feeling you don't feel well.

"Well, go to sleep on the couch sweetheart, rest well, I'll do the rest for you before you give birth, you don't have to do anything anymore. Will you come with me?" David asked as he rose to his feet. "Thank you David, that's sweet of you, I'll go with you if I can." I sighed. David lifted me up, "I know you're strong." David said as he kissed me.

David laid me gently on the couch and put the warm blankets over me.  "Am I heavier now?" I asked shyly. "Well no, you're still as light as a feather." David said as he sat down next to me.

"Are you feeling a little better?" David asked as he looked at me for eye contact. I nodded, "The nausea has subsided a bit." I sighed. "That comes from throwing up, of course." Said David with a laugh.

I chuckled, "That's right, oh I have terrible back pain." I said as I sank into pain. David was immediately concerned, "Here's an extra pillow."  David said as he put the pillow under my back. "That better?" David asked in a whisper. I nodded and grabbed David's hand tightly with gratitude, "This feels even better." I smiled.

The weather outside was terrible, the math roofs and the wind blew through the trees. I felt safe inside, safe that David is home.

"Would you like something to drink, honey?"  David asked. I yawned wearily, "Make a glass of lemonade, if you like."

David got up from the couch and went to the kitchen, I felt so damn tired and what a terrible backache. Suddenly I felt a baby kick in my stomach, I pulled up my sweater and saw that one of the twins was quite active.
