☆Chrrristmas!☆

The time had come, the best time of the year had arrived. Finally it was the day of happiness, and much joy.

I woke up to the twins' crying, it was already eight o'clock in the morning. As I got out of bed, I met the calendar hanging on the wall. My eyes were fixed on it and I read what day it was, December 25, which means Christmas time!

David slept through the night, he hadn't been feeling well for a few days because of a flu he caught.

I carefully took the twins in my arms and sat with them on the bed. Archie and Elin drank right to my chest. Oh how I was in the mood for today.

David woke up and started coughing out his lungs, "Good morning sweetie, are you feeling a little better today? Today is your favorite holiday." I whispered softly.

"Christmas, oh yes! That's today." David said in a crackling voice from the coughing. "How do you feel?" I asked as I rubbed David's warm forehead. "Still a little sickly, but I promise to celebrate Christmas with you as much as possible today." David said as he sat up in bed.

Archie lost his appetite and started to let go of my nipple. "That was fast, you're excited too, aren't you, boy?" I said as I put Archie on a pillow he was comfortable on.

David grinned and looked with his just-awake eyes at Archie as he began to fall asleep. "Honey, today you take it easy, you're still warm." I said as I looked at David.

"I want to celebrate Christmas with all of you today, I'm trying to stay with you as much as possible, I'll be fine." David said as he gave me a quick kiss as he got out of bed.

Elin got tired of drinking and started to open her eyes, she looked straight into my eyes when I put her in my arms. "So, baby girl, are you fully charged again?" I giggled.

"They're getting bigger every day." David said as he took off his pajama bottoms. "Very big, luckily." I said when I held the pacifier in Elin's mouth.

When David was fully dressed, he sat down next to me on the edge of the bed. David rubbed Archie's soft cheeks, "Well, I'll start with Christmas breakfast." David sighed with a yawn after it.

"Are you taking it easy with your flu? You should have stayed in bed at last." I said as I sat down close to David on the bed. David nodded, "Yeah, finally, and I think it would be better too, but I'm not doing that." David said stubbornly.

I jokingly patted David's arm, "You bite through everything too, hey, strong man." I joked. David blushed a little, "Sure, sometimes you have to, especially on a day today, I don't want to miss any of that."

I put Elin in David's arm, "I have to go to the toilet, I'll be right back." I said softly as I kissed David's cheek.

While I was on the toilet, I heard David singing soft songs to Archie and Elin. I stopped breathing for a moment to hear everything correctly.

"Heather sweetie, Elin threw up!" David called me. "I'm coming baby!" I said back as I pulled up my pants and pulled off a large load of toilet paper.
