Heather's POV:

I allowed the flag to go outside, because after a few days I was happy to go home after a long period in the hospital.

But unfortunately the pain was still very great, I had to walk with crutches because my leg has not yet fully recovered. And it also hurt a lot.

Today was Valentine's Day, a special day for David and I. The two of us were taking a walk together, just the two of us.

My mom and dad came to visit every day to do the things I'm supposed to do. But unfortunately due to my recovery I can't do everything to take care of the twins, I can try, but unfortunately I can't because of my terrible pain and I often forget things.

It was in the afternoon, freezing cold outside. While David and I were still walking (me on my crutches) I was gradually getting tired. "Can we sit on that bench over there?" I said in a breathless voice.

"Of course we can, honey." David said sweetly as he helped me to walk. I sat down on the bench and stretched out my leg, "I shouldn't have done this, I'm afraid I can't take a step like this." I sulked.

David put his left hand on mine, "Poor darling, I wouldn't have liked this either. Shall I carry you home like this?" he asked suddenly. I chuckled, "Really? How would you like to do that?" I asked with a smile.

"Easy!" David said as he stroked his muscle. "Okay, we'll see." I laughed again.

David got off the bench and crouched in front of me, "Climb on my back, when we get home you'll lie on the couch, okay sweetie?" Asked David. I nodded, and stepped carefully onto David's back. David pulled his body up and held my two legs. "Do you feel any pain now?" David asked as he picked up the two crutches.

"I don't feel any pain, your back is very comfortable." I said as I buried my face in David's neck. "Then we go home." smiled David.

That felt pretty crazy, on my husband's back. How he always came up with these great ideas, he really proved that he loved me.

David and I on his back walked back into our street, we were almost there after a long walk. I felt like a little girl again, it was like having flashbacks of my childhood. That's how I used to walk with my father, my father is and was so strong. David just like that!

"Are you sleeping? You're so quiet." David said suddenly. "No, well, almost, I'm very sleepy." I sighed. David could already see our house in the distance. "100 more steps and we'll be there, honey, keep your eyes open." Said David sweetly.

I chuckled and cherished moments like these. Any woman could dream if a man carries a woman on his back.

We stood at the door of our house, David rang the doorbell. My mother opened the door. "Hello darlings, how did the walk go?" She asked.

David walked in and bent down in front of the couch so I could sit on the couch. "I don't think it was such a good idea. Heather suddenly got very tired and couldn't even take one step, so I just carried her." Smiled David. I laughed, "What will the people who have seen us think?"

"I'm sure they will realize what a strong and big hunk I am." David said as he squeezed his muscles with a (tough) smile.

My mother went out to smoke a cigarette with David moments later, when I was sitting on the couch and nearly crippled in pain. Suddenly i heard Archie cry. I looked around and couldn't do anything, I couldn't get up, and I didn't want to wear out my voices from shouting.
