January 13th, 1980.

Four days after David's birthday, it was time for a party in the cafe. David's friends were all invited. And, David's newest manager. She is quite a young woman, her name is Mollie.

The party had started, I was sitting at the bar drinking a beer and watching David jam with his faithful friends to the music.

David was a little tipsy again, "Heather, baby, come dance!" David said as he danced with merriment.

I jumped off my barstool and ran into David's hands. David grabbed my hands, the song played louder.

"This is romantic, isn't it?" Said David softly. I nodded and knew David was tipsy, "Yeah, sure, this is a beautiful song."

Mollie walked into the bar. David kept my arms loose and stopped dancing. "Welcome Mollie, would you like a beer?" David asked as he walked over to his new manager Mollie.

"Thank you David, what a great party here. How was your birthday?" Mollie asked as she sat down on the bar stool. David took a seat next to her, they both seemed to be having a great time.

I sighed and looked at David and Mollie, I let them both go. Not that I was jealous or anything.

I sat alone at a table. Tried to enjoy David's birthday party. David saw through to me and sat down at the table with me, "Hello Heather, are you okay sweetie?" David asked. "Yeah, I'm having fun." I smiled as I looked at David.

"That's fine, if you need anything, I'm at the bar with Mollie." David said as he kissed my cheek, he rose from his chair and sat down again next to his trusty manager Mollie.

I managed to sigh again. I just had to take a walk outside for a breath of fresh air. "David? I'm going for a walk, do you want to come with me?" I asked as I tapped David on his back. David turned around, "Oh baby, I'm staying here for a while, is that okay?" David asked. That's what I thought. "Yeah, yeah, that's fine, I'll be right back." I said disappointed.

I walked out with my hands in my pockets. It was quite cold. I was thinking about David and Mollie. Mollie had been replacing Jack's Manager Work for several days now, who had meanwhile resigned from his job.

What was I to think, was I jealous of David and Mollie or something? David had been there all day two days ago, a few days ago Mollie had become his new manager.

Sometimes I didn't know any better. I was David's faithful wife for years.

After a nice fifteen minute walk, I went back to David's birthday party in the bar. I opened the door and knocked the snow off my coat, there was a snow storm for days.

When I walked into the bar that moment, there was a moment I wish I had never thought of.

Mollie sat on David's lap, kissing. I was stunned, I stood rigidly still at the images I saw before my eyes.

I knew they wanted something together. David saw me and let Mollie's lips go. "Heather, this isn't what it seems!" Said David Bowie, startled.

"What is this?" I asked. David got off his barstool and walked over to me. "I'm so sorry!" David said as he grabbed my arm.

I moved my arm to the side so that he let go of my arm. "I knew it. I knew it!" I shouted angrily. Mollie looked at us, she knew I was his girlfriend.
