April, 30th, 1986. *1 Week later.

It was early in the morning, today was the big special day. Today we would find out if our upcoming baby would be a boy or girl.

"I'm so sorry I can't go to the obstetrician sweetheart." David said as he brushed his hair. I sighed, "Better next time baby, and take it as a surprise if you come home in a minute." I said as I put on my coat.

David hugged me, "You're right, well honey, I have to go." David said as he gave me a quick kiss. I waved and smiled at David who had to get to his performance as soon as possible.

When David had to go to work I took the bike, I had to be with the midwife at exactly 10 o'clock. And it was finally the first time that I will see our baby!

------------------------
Moments Later.

I lay on the table with my shirt up. "Okay, now I'll go over your belly with a kind of camera, I'll put some gel on it, it might feel a bit cold." Said the midwife. A messy sound came from it. The midwife was stunned, "I have good news ma'am." She said unexpectedly.

"What is it?" I said when I was focused on the television screen, there I could see the baby well.

The midwife pointed her finger at the screen, "It's not one baby, but two." She said cheerfully.

My happiness couldn't be worse, "Twins? Oh so I'm having twins! Oh how happy I am now!" I said excitedly, again the tears of happiness rose.

"My husband would be shocked to hear that we are having twins!" I laughed with happiness. The midwife stroked my stomach to get a better look at the babies, "Cool isn't it? You both love it so much! Now it's time for the sex!"

I was lucky that a baby turned around in my belly so that the midwife can see well with the camera whether it is a girl or boy. The moment was there.. "This is a girl!" She said excitedly. "Ah a little girl, what a surprise!" I smiled.

"And a little boy!" Said the midwife. "Oh how sweet, I am so very grateful!" I said as I looked sweetly at the screen.

After hearing our greatest happiness, I couldn't stop smiling on the way home on the bike..

When I got home, I saw on the clock that it was still so early, too early for David to come home.

I plopped down on the couch and took the ultrasound pictures out of my pants pocket. I sighed and looked at my young babies sitting in my belly, what happiness, a boy and a girl, and twins, I really didn't expect that!

Minutes and hours passed, it was already five o'clock in the afternoon. I heard the front door open. I quickly removed my ultrasound from the bag and hid it behind my back. There David came up, "Hello sweetie. How did it go with the midwife?" David asked breathlessly.

I smiled, "Come here, darling." I whispered. David became more and more curious and sat down next to me on the couch.

"Get your hands out in front of you." I asked. David laughed and stretched out his ten hands. I put the ultrasound picture in his hands.

The smile disappeared from David's face as he looked intently at the photo. "Can you see well?" I asked. David looked at me questioningly, "Not really dear, what gender is it?" David asked quietly. "A boy and a girl!" I smiled.

"A boy and a gi..." David stopped talking and focused again on the photo. "We are expecting twins?" David asked with a big shining smile. "Yes, we do!" I replied sweetly.

David immediately gave me a big hug, "How great is that?" David asked excitedly as he buried his head in my neck.

I stroked the back of David's head and felt incredibly happy.

"When is the exact due date of birth?" David asked as he let go of mine and looked at the ultrasound again. "Somewhere in December, so we're having Christmas babies." I smiled.

David bit his lip with joy, "That's absolutely beautiful!"

"I find your reaction so unforgettable." I said as I crept up to David on the couch. "I am also so happy with both of us, soon we will see small children crawling on the floor here, I can't imagine what we will experience together!" David said as he rubbed my stomach.

I lifted my shirt, I started to get a bit of a round belly. "Oh look, daddy's here babies, can you both hear daddy's voice?" David whispered quietly as he moved his face close to my stomach.

I lay down on the couch in a reclined position, "Talk to them." I smiled. David sat again with his face close to my stomach, "My precious pride." David said, suddenly David made a fart noise with his lips in the middle of my stomach. It tickled me so much I had to laugh out loud.

"That tickled so bad, help I can't breathe anymore!" I had to cough from laughing out loud. David had to laugh too, "Sorry babe, and the babies, I probably woke you up, but now, dinner time!" David said as he got off the couch.

I pulled down my shirt, "What are we going to eat?" I asked. David blinked, "I don't know either." He sighed.

"Sorry, I didn't do any shopping today either." I owed myself. "Don't worry sweetie, well you know, let's just go to McDonalds." David said as he took his car keys out of his pocket and jingled them.

I got off the couch and put on my coat. "I'm so excited for a big mac." I said as I licked my lips. "You can do that too, I'll pay that." David said as he kissed my cheek..

Alright, that's it again! I'm sorry this part is a bit shorter than usual. I'm still running out of ideas.
Anyway, the next part is coming soon! See ya there
