• June 17, 1973. Osaka, Japan.

I woke up to the sun shining through the curtains.

I turned to the right to wish David good morning. But he wasn't next to me anymore. I looked around to see where he was, nowhere to be seen.

It was seven o'clock early, David came out of the bathroom naked. "Morning honey, why do you look worried?" He asked.

"Good morning, how are you feeling now?" I asked when I yawned. David pulled on his underpants. "Better, just a little limp. Last night I had a bad headache, but otherwise I was able to sleep through the night."

There was a knock on the door. David quickly pulled on his t-shirt and pants and ran to the front door.

"David boy! Today is the big day, our bus leaves in an hour. How long have you been up?" Jack asked as he chewed a piece of gum. "I woke up at six, but in an hour? Heather is still in bed and I'm not even dressed yet." David panicked.

Jack put his hand on David's shoulder.  "Don't panic Dave, you're going to make it today."

"Okay Jack, we'll hurry. Are you going to wait for us outside?" David asked. Jack nodded, "Sure, I'll wait. Goodbye, Mr Bowie." Jack walked down the stairs.

David closed the door quietly. "The bus is coming in an hour, we have to hurry honey." David said when he put on his fantastic typical Ziggy Stardust outfit.

I quickly got out of bed and put on my socks. "You don't feel like it that much, do you?" I asked. David shrugged, "Sounds crazy, you don't expect this, but I do miss our home."

"Me too." I sighed. I missed my parents and my family.

After fifteen minutes we were completely and ready, we were looking forward to the second trip!
The big bus arrived. David looked out the window, "We must hurry, come on baby!" David pulled on my arm.

Jack stood outside with a cigarette in his hand, "Ah, my rock star has arrived. Get in sir and ma'am!"

Wow! The bus was quite luxurious, I had never experienced this before.

David and I sat in the backseat. "This private bus Jack, damn what a big thing!" David said excitedly. "Great isn't it?" Jack asked when he turned his head, he took a seat in front of us.

The bus was leaving, we put on our seat belts. "Did you try to warm up your voice a bit?" Jack asked.

David shook his head, "No, I didn't. I'll do it later when we get to the location."
"Okay, we'll do it later, because that's very important." Jack said sternly.

There was a fridge next to the chairs we were sitting on, Jack opened the fridge door. "Look, ah there's even a nice drink in it!" Jack pulled a bottle of booze from the fridge.

But that was the same alcohol drink that made David so sick yesterday. Jack opened the bottle and poured it into a rather small glass.

David saw and smelled the drink, David pinched his nose and looked rather sour. "Sorry Jack, I think skip this one."

"Oh? Wasn't this your favorite drink?"  Jack asked innocently. "Just put it away!" David said as he tucked his nose into his t-shirt.
