December, 22, 1987.

The morning had arrived, I had risen early because I still had a few things to do. David was still far in the beautiful dreamland, so I let him rest. The day before had been hard for him.

But soon David woke up, "Good morning darling, room service brought breakfast, are you hungry?" I asked in a soft voice.

David yawned and opened his eyes, "No honey, I'm not hungry. Thank you." David says as he rolls back under the covers. I sat down next to him on the bed and worried about my sweet darling. "You really need to eat something, you didn't have anything last night either."

"I have no interest in food right now.." David said in a soft crackling morning voice. I rubbed his wrist and gently pulled the blanket off his face. "Your nose really swells up.." I say as I look like a doctor.

David threw the blanket over his face in shame, "I don't want you to look at it, my dear, and it hurts!" David says with a sigh. He might have been broken after all, but the doctor has determined that David's nose is just bruised.

"I'll put an ice pack on it, maybe it will be better." I say as I bend over to give David a kiss.

David stopped me from grabbing my hand. "My love, I've been thinking about something. I'm canceling all concerts. I want to process this without performances." David says as he lets out a big sigh.

I gently put the ice pack on David's nose when the news comes to my ears what he is saying now. "You want to cancel your concert tour?" I asked softly. David nodded, "Yesterday was a bad day for me, I slept badly all night. I was thinking about Henry last night, a lot." David said as he held the ice pack to his nose.

"You will then have to discuss this with Vince, then your fans can get back the money they bought on the tickets." I say when I put a tray of sandwiches in the middle of the bed. David stared hungrily at the sandwiches the room service lady had brought over.

David looked at the clock, "Vince will be here soon, I have to get dressed!" David says as he suddenly throws the blanket off his body. I chuckled as I took a bite of the freshly baked delicious bun.

"Please take it easy on your sore nose, darling." I said with my mouth full. David put the ice pack aside and put on his jeans. "Sure my love, I'm just focusing on Vince who will be here in half an hour." David said as he tucks his belt through his pants.

I laughed because David could be so cocky sometimes. I had left three sandwiches for David and put the tray back on the serving trolley. David walked into the bathroom and stood motionless in front of the mirror for ten seconds...

"Are you all right, my love?" I asked as I massage his shoulders. David looked stoned, as if he had been hypnotized. "Hello, is everything okay? Hello, please contact me?" I asked again, snapping my fingers. Suddenly David blinked. "Sorry, I was having flashbacks."David said as he turned around.

I gave David a hug. "Don't think about that moment anymore, think about the beautiful moments we have, think about the twins." I say in a whispery voice. David nodded and rested his chin on my shoulder, "You're right my darling."

The clock was ticking. Soon David and I were fully dressed.

Suddenly the phone rang, David walked over with a brush in his hand. "Hello?" I heard him say when I paint my nails. "Are you fucking serious, Vince?" David raised his voice.
