June, 23. 1987.

7 o'clock in the early morning.

Today was the day, the day I go home and David moves on to go on a further tour. Now David is going from England to the Netherlands, he would stay in Amsterdam. He then moves on to Belgium and Germany.

David turned the key through the door with a sigh, "Thanks for the lovely stay, hotel." He said softly to himself.

"Ready?" I asked. David nodded, "Yes, ready to go."

David and I, and the twins in the pram went down in the elevator. When we were downstairs David took the key to reception with a heavy bag behind his shoulder.

David walked back to me and grabbed my hand, "We have to hurry, the taxi is waiting and we have to be on the platform at nine in the morning."

The taxi was waiting at the curb in front of the large high-rise hotel building. David helped fold the stroller and put it in the trunk of the taxi.

The taxi driver was a great friend of David, on the way to the train station they have great conversations.

Archie sat on David's lap, the twins were silent and then they had already fallen asleep. I was a bit sad, David is now two weeks away from me. He's going on a whole tour through Europe, he's been looking forward to it for so long. So I let him go.

I just stared out the window with my arm tucked under my jaw. David noticed I was pretty quiet so he ran his hand over my hair. "What's wrong, honey?" David asked softly. I raised my head and didn't want to look at David. He knew I had a hard time saying goodbye, especially to him.

"Nothing, it's all right." I replied, I just didn't want to ruin his tour he had been looking forward to for so long.

David grabbed my hand and held it. "I know you're going to miss me, and you know I'll miss you too. But I'll be back before you know it." David said as he sat close to me.

"And I would also miss my little ones, temporarily." David said after it..

The car ride was long, it was a long way from the train station. David was wide awake, he was very much looking forward to going on a trip.

The sun began to shine, David put on his sunglasses. Archie sat on David's lap, Archie looked at David with his big blue eyes. "Crazy sunglasses, isn't it Archie?" David chuckled.

Archie let out a big yawn, David put Archie in a lying position on his lap. "Sleep little one, mommy and daddy are with you." David said as he got close to Archie's face.

"Sweet." I said in a soft tone. David looked at me with a smile where I could tell he was a proud dad for sure.

After a long half hour in the taxi, we arrived at the train station. David got out, "Here we are, honey." David said nervously. I nodded and took a deep breath.

David pushed the pram the twins were sleeping in. I walked behind David and dawdled a bit, David noticed I was a few feet behind him. "What's the matter honey, you're so quiet?" David asked again.

I looked at David, David noticed that my eyes were getting a bit wet. He started to hug me tight. "My very very sweetest darling ever, now you make me emotional too." David and I were hugging in the middle of the platform.
