Brandi was bored out of her mind, just staying in her flat, and she didn't think Drew would drop by any time soon, like he usually would, so she decided to mix it up a little bit.

Brandi opened her closet to search for a shirt that looked more presentable than the band shirt she was wearing, which was four sizes too big and already reached more than halfway down her thighs. She didn't bother changing out of her sweatpants, because, let's be honest, it was just Drew. She always felt comfortable around him and didn't feel the need to look great in front of him, all the time. Lastly, she slipped on some Vans and stuffed all of her necessities into a small backpack, before walking out the door.

Brandi had passed by Drew's house on her way to the grocery store enough times to know that it wasn't very far from her flat. She could just walk there, which was good because she didn't have a car, nor, knew how to drive one.

It was a rather cloudy day, and there was a possibility that it would rain soon, but Brandi was pretty sure that Drew wouldn't mind if she had to stay overnight because of the rain. In fact, he might even drive her home if she asked him nicely.

Brandi arrived at Drew's front porch minutes later and rang the doorbell. The door was opened by, what looked like, a younger female version of Drew. Her hair was a lot darker compared to Drew's platinum blonde fringe, but face-wise, they looked pretty similar.

"May I help you?" she asked.

"Is Drew in?" Brandi replied. "I'm Brandi, a friend of his."

"Yeah, he's here. I'm Drew's sister, Kacey."

Both of them shook hands, briefly, and Kacey let her into their home, which, in fact, did feel very home-y to Brandi. She wondered why Drew didn't like staying here. It was great. Brandi had only been inside his house for twenty seconds and she already felt very at home.

"Drew!" Kacey yelled, which didn't really attract Drew. Instead, it attracted a huge dog and Brandi already knew her by the name of Lilly.

"Hey there, Lilly," Brandi said, getting down on her knees to stroke Lilly's soft fur.

"I reckon you and Drew are pretty close," Kacey said.

Before Brandi could even formulate a response to give to Kacey, she heard footsteps making their way down the stairs, rapidly.

"What the hell do you want now, Ka- Oh," Drew said, looking up from his phone, his eyes immediately making eye contact with Brandi, who was rubbing Lilly's belly. "What are you doing here? I mean, I'm glad to see you here, but why?"

"My flat gets a little lonely sometimes."

"Why not just go to Nate's house?"

"I don't know," Brandi replied. She wasn't sure why she didn't think of doing that instead, but it wasn't like she could turn back now. "Your house is just closer, I guess."

"So, what do you want to do while you're here?" Drew asked. Just like Brandi, Drew wasn't much of a host when it came to things like this. He wasn't good at entertaining guests and would usually just let them do whatever they wanted when they were over at his house.

"We could always watch movies," Brandi suggested, not really having any good ideas herself.

Drew led Brandi up the stairs, which meant she had to part ways with Lilly, and they ended up in Drew's bedroom, which was exceptionally neat, much to Brandi's surprise. She didn't really know why, but she had Drew pinned down as the messy type.
