Elise hiked up the carrier again and entered the busy store. Cribs and other baby furniture were displayed behind barriers. Customers were given paper slips and on it were blanks. If they saw one they wanted then the abbreviated name and numbers were penciled in. This way people didn't have to worry about pushing them around loading. It was delivered straight home free of charge.

People milled about, some with infants like her or toddlers. An associate accompanied her so he could write down what she wanted due to the carrier being heavy. A soft grey crib with flat panels looked good

"This one, please."

"Yes ma'am."

She also got matching sheets and a changing table with drawers. Coincidentally the credit card Yamada gave her was also grey. She filled out a customer form with an address, phone number and other contact information. The cashier smiled at her.

"You have an adorable baby there."

"Thank you."

Elise left and saw Yamada waiting with a Izumi and a brand new diaper baby backpack thing. His free hand held an impossible amount of shopping bags. She joined him and they had lunch in the food court. The furniture would delivered later.

Elise took two bottles out of her purse. It was the two that came with the breast pump gifted from a previous baby shower. The carriers had been placed on two chairs between the "couple". She made an effort to talk with him.

Beloved customer your delivery is here!-

"Come in! Come in!"

A couple men and women brought in large boxes placing them in the soon to be nursery. They were also kind enough to help him assemble the cribs before leaving. The table was placed against the wall and he windows filtered in sunlight. He stepped back and admired the view. Two happy babies in their cribs. Sun filling the room. The walls were plain white, no need to paint them.

Happier times indeed.

5 Years Later~

"Time to go boys! Izanaaaa? Izumii."

He heard laughing and stomping as two boys ran into the living area. A taller tanned boy with white hair bumbled into view. Izana Kurokawa and his 5 minute younger twin, Izumi. Both dressed for school and ready to go. Izuku was a few inches shorter, at the perfect height for Izana to hug. Izumi happily rested his head on Izana's shoulder.

Their plan seemingly worked. Izana learnt how to cook for himself, use the washer, clean the house, and more. A bank account was made for the boys in their name to use on groceries and necessities.

They piled in drove to Mizo Elementary. He waved goodbye as they joined their fellow students.

"Hey Izumi! I want you to meet my friend!"

"Okay!"

School was over and he and Izana went to a nearby playground and waited. Soon a boy with shaved black hair and a large scar over his left eye came. The first Izumi noticed was how tall he was. Even more than Izana.

"Over here Kakucho!"

"Izumi, this! Is my best friend in the whole wide world! Hitto Kakucho!!"

"Nice to meet you. My name's Izumi Kurokawa."

Kakucho looked at the smallest of the trio and smiled. Izana wrapped his arm around Izumi's abdomen. Kakucho looked back and forth before also hugging him too.

"Let's play!"

Soon it was time to leave. Izumi learned that Kakucho was an orphan and lived in an orphanage. He made him promise to visit for sleepovers.

Izana and Izumi walked hand in hand to the skyscraper. Few people were in the lobby. The man at the desk noticed the boys and called them over.

"Kurokawa right?"

"Yes sir."

"Here. Your dad asked me to give you these."

He bent down and pulled out two sets of keys. House keys for their floor. He took them and entered the elevator.

"Hey Izana, why didn't daddy get us today?"

"I don't know."

It dinged and they opened the front door expecting Yamada and Elise waiting inside. Silence. Izumi looked in the bedrooms and everything was perfectly made. Opening the closets made him confused. It was completely empty. The bathroom as well. Izana encountered the same thing. Only the nursery, which was no longer in use and their bedroom were the only ones that showed someone lived here.

"Daddy? Mommy? Where are you?"

There was a lingering scent of the expensive perfume Elise would use in the room but that was the only indication it'd been inhabited at all. Not even a sock was left behind in a drawer. He ran out in a panic.

Izana searched Yamada's room, looking under the bed and curtains. Maybe he left a note somewhere or was playing hide and seek.

"Daddy? Where are you?"

He gave up and found Izumi nervously sitting on the carpet. He was clutching a plush pillow to calm himself.

"Izana! Where are they? Did they leave?"

"I don't know. They'll come back tomorrow."

"Really?"

Izana didn't answer and just hugged him and both fell asleep on the floor with some pillows and a throw blanket on the couch.

He blinked from the harsh sun hitting his eyes when he woke up. He rubbed his eyes and blinked a couple times to adjust looking around. The large living area which had the curtains pulled aside. No wonder it was so bright, the curtains hadn't been pulled to block the glass walls. It was 8:58am on a Saturday.

He woke Izumi up and prepared a bath for them before making breakfast in the kitchen. The fridge and freezer was well stocked so he made tamagoyaki and poured peach juice into plastic cups. Izumi finally came out in a clean pair of overall shorts and a white shirt. He smiled thinking how cute he looked since he picked them out.

The two sat down and ate while listening to the radio to fill in the empty atmosphere. Dishes were washed and drying. Unsure of what to do now.

"Can we play with your friend again?"

"Kakucho?"

"Yeah."

He grabbed his pocket money and locked the door behind them. Luckily Izana still remembered the directions to the orphanage Kakucho lived at.

The woman recognized him from his frequent visits and allowed the boys in. A nondescript concrete building with only a decrepit sign stating "Hyakuya Orphanage". Inside were small lockers against the wall and wooden floors. Young children and a few older ones milled around doing their own thing or playing with others.

Izana grabbed his hand and led him through the halls until they reached a backdoor where the scarred boy was playing in the dirt alone.

Oh man I rushed this to get it done today. Sorry!
