Telling Mikey About The Time Travels

Mikey called Takemichi over to the Musashi Shrine. He had no idea what he wanted to talk about. With Mikey it could be anything. Draken wasn't here with him and it felt a bit odd. Takemichi approached him.

"Takemitchy tell me about your time travels. I'm quite interested!"

He sat down next to Mikey and began from when he was pushed onto the train tracks. His last thoughts being of Hina and the white light. Takemichi talked nonstop and Mikey sat there listening and absorbing it all in.

It explained why Takemichi was so stubborn about not fighting Osanai and the apparent attempt on Emma's life which he didn't even know about. Chifuyu knew about the time traveling but kept it to himself.

"I'm sorry Mikey! If Pah wasn't arrested then none of this would have happened! Peh wouldn't try and have Draken killed and then Baji!"

Takemichi let himself cry over the past events. It only took one of Kisaki's plans to work and that set the rest in motion. A devastating domino effect on him and Toman. At least he was out of Toman but still.

"You know, the first time I saw you was when Kiyomasa beat you senseless and yet, you stood there as though you carried the weight of the world on your shoulders."

Mikey gave a closed eye smile to Takemichi.

"You are my hero, Takemitchy. Can you hear those footsteps? That is the sound of our new era."

Members of Toman walked up the steps. Mikey grinned and continued speaking.

"You never stopped fighting for all of us even when it seemed hopeless."

He could see Chifuyu and the other captains and vices standing there, Baji included. Everyone was looking up at him and Mikey.

"You have created this 'era'! It's your era."

He spoke softly so only Takemitchy would hear.

"That's why I've made my decision."

"Alright everyone listen! Toman has made many sacrifices. I watched all of you give it your all during our battle between Toman and Tenjiku! Sadly it is our first and last loss. We created an era that will be handed down from generation to generation! That is why I am going to end it all while we're at the top."

Mikey took a deep breath and shouted even louder so he could be heard clearly.

"As of today, the Tokyo Manji Gang is disbanded!!"

Takemichi's jaw dropped, as did everyone else. It was so out of the blue and a random moment for their leader, Mikey to declare Toman disbanded. Draken wasn't aware of this either.

"Takemichi Hanagaki, step forward!"

"This is for the best future right? To disband Toman."

"Mikey...this your family..."

"Takashi Mitsuya! Step forward! Toman couldn't have made it this far without you. Thank you."

"Wait Mikey-"

"Third Division acting captain, Ryouhei Hayashi step forward!"

Mikey continued to call upon the other captains, even Mucho since he left and was a traitor the entire time. He was once a part of Toman and he would respect that. Draken finished his mini speech and bowed at the waist to thank him.

"No matter how good things are they must come to an end! We end this meeting but never forget Toman lives on in our hearts!"

"Yeah!"

"Toman! Toman! Toman! Toman! Toman!"

The members raised their fists and shouted in unison. Truly a beautiful and sentimental moment for Toman and its members.

After the meeting ended Takemichi got a call from Shinichiro of all people. How did he even get his number? They spoke a couple times but that was about it. If he was calling him then it must be important.

"Hello Shinichiro?"

"Takemichi! Sorry for calling you like this but Izumi left the hospital and we haven't found him. It's dark and Izana and I are extremely worried! Have you or Manjiro seen him?"

"No, sorry. I'll keep an eye out. Is he alright?"

"No, it's a long story. Thanks anyway Takemichi."

Mikey and Draken stayed back to talk. Takemichi went to Mikey and told him what Shinichiro said. This meant that Izumi was missing for a day now. They planned to report him missing if he wasn't found tomorrow.

Ran and Rindou were more than happy to feed and accommodate Izumi throughout the afternoon and evening. He didn't want to go out so they played games and watched tv. Ran pressed him about why he was in the hospital but didn't push him when he didn't want to tell them just yet.

Izumi was going to sleep on the plush couch. It was wide and very comfortable with some spare plush throws in a closet. They didn't have any guest rooms and as a visitor he expected to sleep there anyways.

The brothers were horrified when he asked for an extra pillow to use on the couch. Horrible fantasies played in their minds of Izumi tossing and turning, having a nightmare and no one to hold him. Each insisted that he take their bed and he would sleep on the couch.

"I couldn't do that! This is your home and I'm a guest!"

Rin would never tire of hearing his cute voice. Taking advantage of his distracted state, Ran humbly offered up his massive XXL king size bed to him. Ran went into a spiel about how he should be in the bed since he was the host.

Feeling tired Izumi agreed and went to the bathroom to brush and stuff. Ran gave his little brother an evil grin. Rin shot back that he got Izumi to wear the outfit for the entire day. Everyone was clean and ready to sleep.

Izumi liked the giant window Ran had in his room. The natural light helped him to sleep quickly. And the soft sheets and blanket. Absolute heaven. Though this was Ran's first time sleeping on a couch but he would agree it was very, very cozy.

Next Morning-

Izumi rubbed his eyes and stretched around to see it was daylight outside. He slithered out and tried to flatten the wrinkles that appeared. He wore the same thing to sleep since it was 100% cotton and all that good stuff.

Rin was most likely sleeping and Ran was too. His hair was splayed against the pillow as he snored lightly under a throw. He went to the kitchen and looked for what could be made for breakfast.

It seemed as though the kitchen had everything and anything to be turned into a delicious dish. Izumi chose a simple seaweed miso soup with rice and tamagoyaki since it was quick and fairly simple to prepare.
