South yelled at Senju who made her declaration for Takemichi to join Brahman. The Kantou Manji gang would be here soon and she didn't want him to go to them. From what she heard, Mikey and Takemichi had previous history together.
Draken was getting tired of this. Everyone else trying to make decisions for him and Takemitchy. Inupi sort of watched from behind but Izumi was not by his side. The now heavy downpour made it difficult to discern him from the crowd.
"Just shut the hell up! Takemichi and I will decide for ourselves! We're not gonna just do what ever you say! Right Takemitchy?"
He figured Takemitchy would have immediately agreed. He mulled over what Mikey said in the future and his promises to him. Takemichi looked up determined.
"I have no interest with Rokuhara Tandai or Brahman!"
His voice was getting hoarse from all this yelling and shouting. The chill from the rain was starting to affect him. He clenched his fists and shouted again.
"My only goal today is to defeat Kantou Manji Gang's leader, Sano Manjiro!!"
A ballsy declaration in front of the other two deities. No one seemed to express any surprise or anger all cool as cucumbers. The low ranking members murmured amongst themselves hearing this weak looking guy wanting to take down the "Invincible Mikey."
South loomed over Takemichi with anger. He was offended that Takemichi wanted to fight someone like Mikey.
"Are you trying to interfere with the 3 deities?!"
Draken anticipated the blow and punched South first. He flew away from Takemichi. Draken made a fist and beckoned South to come at him. He'd be damned if he let him get to Takemichi. The two long beans were about to start round 2 but police sirens were heard in the distance and slowly coming closer.
The two massive gangs had inadvertently caused a traffic jam by meeting at a intersection.
"We'll settle this another time Draken."
South turned back to his men.
"South! I've left the old me in Toman! I will NEVER join Rokuhara Tandai!"
He didn't answer. He simply ordered his guys to leave and disperse. Takemichi smiled at Draken. He was glad his morals hadn't changed and his heart would always be with Toman and Mikey. He watched as Takeomi exchanged words with Draken.
"We're leaving too!"
Takeomi did a sweep at the dispersing gangs but didn't see a peach dress anywhere. He suspected Rokuhara Tandai only because Brahman had no reason to take him. But like South said, they'd settle this another time. Once he dried off he'd go search for Izumi.
Inupi had gotten his own ride while Draken and Takemichi rode back together. Takemichi praised him for not changing and being him. Draken gripped the handlebars.
"There's something I gotta tell you Takemitchy. I'm a member of Brahman."
Had he heard him correctly?
South observed the Haitani brothers interacting with the young lady who was with Takemichi. She was decent looking. Long hair, smooth tanned skin, and a cute squishy face currently shivering and matted with wet hair.
Ran smiled at him and waved, he knew his interest had been piqued so he would tell South about Izuku later. Rin asked Izumi if he wanted to ride with him.
"I'm a pretty good driver if I say so myself. Better than Ran at least."
"Okay! It's my first time riding a motorcycle so I trust you!"
"You can trust me with your life!"
Rindou was happy to hear that and thought of it as some achievement. Being Izumi's first motorcycle ride. Ran didn't hear their convo and offered to take him back on his.
"Thanks Ran but Rindou already offered!"
Izumi chirped and left Ran to cry in the corner. Since they were all cold and hungry Rin opted to have him back at their place again. There was that kotatsu he bought a while back but never used. He teased Ran for buying it all because Izumi mentioned how he always wanted one at home.
"I see."
Next day a delivery team set up the blanket table in the living room. Ran teased Rin back for being okay with it after he said Izumi wanted one. It was perfect for a rainy night.
"It won't be long right? I'm getting really cold."
A well timed sneeze solidified that thought.
"5 minutes and hot showers await us."
Draken, Inupi, and Takemichi were back at the D&D shop. Their clothes drying on a rack. Inupi tossed him a towel for the hair while the two chatted. Draken wasn't inside which was odd considering the weather outside.
"He's outside with some Brahman members. Probably discussing you."
"What?! I need to make sure he's okay!"
"Takemichi, I'm worried about Draken. Brahman isn't a delinquent gang, it's more of a yakuza governed by adults. Nasty rumors follow them too."
He nodded and went outside to see Draken holding Takeomi against the brick wall outside. They seemed to be arguing about something.
"If you drag Takemichi into this mess I'll never forgive you! Stop trying to get former Toman guys involved!"
He wasn't even fazed by the rain or cold standing in sandals and no shirts. Takeomi was finally let go. Takemichi approached Draken, if it was about him then he needed to know.
"Draken intends to bring Mikey back."
It was that guy from earlier. Senju? He held his umbrella as he spoke about Draken's plan and Brahman's as well. Takeomi light another cigarette reminiscing about Toman and how they just wanted have a good time and not about being the best.
"But the Kantou Manji Gang isn't like that at all."
The way things were going, Mikey was to be made out as the bad guy. Takeomi grinned, Brahman would defeat the bad guys including Mikey. Senju again tried to persuade Takemichi to join Brahman.
For one, Draken was already in Brahman and they could help him with Mikey and the Kantou Manji Gang. Draken saw the look on his face and knew what he would say.
"Don't Takemichi!"
"I'll join Brahman and save Mikey."
Takeomi tried to reason with Draken and how the two of them had a better chance with Mikey since he trusted those two more than him and Senju.
