Brahman

Takemichi squeaked and fell. A body flew at him and landed with a dull thud. South turned to see who threw the poor soul at them. 

"South, don't go around actin like you're the big buy. You should take notice of those around you."

He pulled of his hood revealing himself to be Takeomi Akashi. Izumi couldn't believe he was seeing him here. And with a whole other gang behind him. He excitedly ran to Takeomi, not listening to Inupi's warning.

"Stay next to me I-!"

"Takeomi! How are you?"

"Izumi? Why are you here? It's dangerous."

Takeomi lowered his voice so only they two could hear. Izumi just smiled and patted his arm. Takeomi sighed and reached into one of the hidden pockets, fumbling around before returning with a piece of candy.

The unique seafoamy green wrapper was presented to him and eagerly accepted. Takeomi always had a supply of this particular caramel for him. Takeomi gave him a couple more and stepped forward to place Izumi behind him.

South noticed but would find out more about him later. 

"Brahman! What brings you here?!"

*Plip* *Plip* 

Raindrops fell and grew into a sizable shower. Takeomi looked up as his cigarette went out and remembered Shin's nickname for him. "The Rain Bringer."

"Ya know, Shin always told me where ever I went the rain would come."

He tossed the useless stick and faced them. Taking a deep breath he yelled above the rain. Takemichi was caught off guard hearing that this Brahman wanted to recruit him for their gang. No one else seemed shocked at the request.

South's grin stayed and Draken and Inupi glanced over at Izumi. From the looks of things Takeomi might want to have him as well for what ever reason. 

"Me?! You want me to join you?!"

"Yeah. What's it sound like?"

"Oi oi oi! You can't do that! We're not giving in!"

"Kachan?! You're here too?!"

Tenjiku was given to Tetta and Shuji to run. Izana didn't want to disband them so he gave the gang to those two to run. Izana now spent his time on little hobbies and with Izumi. Kakucho joined up with another gang but didn't tell Izumi.

Takeomi didn't like that he was working under South. He saw Izumi as a little brother and was sometimes worried about the people he associated with.

"Working under South? What happened to Tenjiku?"

"Handed it over to some trusted 'friends'. Aren't you usually with Shinichiro and his buds?"

"Seriously? Bickering at this age?"

Mochi entered the scene with a cruel smile. A second blonde followed with a erratic smile.

"Black Dragon's first generation Takeomi Akashi! It is I! Black Dragon's 9th gen. captain, the great Madarame Shion!"

The infamous Haitani brothers followed suit. They wore a special black version of Tandai's uniform. Takemichi was freaking out looking back and forth at the Rokuhara Tandai's members. Takeomi remained cool as a cucumber.

Izumi saw the brothers and excitedly waved at them. Ran smiled and gave a small wave back at him. Cute as ever in that peachy dress. Takeomi frowned but smiled again.

"Being young is nice, isn't it Senju?"

A small body wearing the Brahman hooded coat ran at South and launched an umbrella at him. South deflected it at the last moment. If Takeomi hadn't said anything it might have gotten to him. But it was a distraction.

Senju was behind him and shot a swift kick against the top of his head. It wasn't terribly effective but did make him falter if for a moment. Senju landed gracefully on both feet and stood up.

"My umbrella."

"Huh?"

"Here you go!"

Izumi held out the slightly wet umbrella to her. She popped it open and pulled the hood back to reveal short icy blonde hair and long eyelashes that reminded him of Haru. She stared at him blankly. Feeling put on the spot he retreated to Ran and Rin, who were behind her.

Ran smiled and petted his head, happy to see their little friend again. Izumi stayed close for warmth. Kakucho watched him being close with the Haitani's. They were dangerous and unpredictable at times.

Izana had expressed his disapproval of them and asked Hitto to make sure they didn't get into close contact. Now here they were, against each other. To be fair that dress wasn't meant for chillier weather. But still, he eyed Ran wrapping his arms around Izumi to keep him warm?

Takemichi should know who the new player was.

"Kawaragi Senju, Brahman's boss."

Senju looked at the other leaders with a cool look.

"So. Let's do this."

Takeomi couldn't believe this petite young man was the boss of Brahman. Everyone else was practically giants. South grinned cracking his neck.

"Grazioso Senju! You're making me nervous."

"Don't get too cock ya little shrimp!"

Senju looked over at Shion with his crazed look and matted wet hair. She blinked with much disinterest.

"Who the fuck are you?"

He did not appreciate that. Shion was about to start his little spiel again when a fist sent him flying. It was Brahman's top executive, Arashi Keizou, "Benkei" and a former member of the Black Dragons. 

"You're a disgrace to the Black Dragons so cut that fuckin shit out already!!"

Takemichi was confused by this and asked Inupi for clarification. He explained that beardy was from the first generation of Black Dragons. The two watched as Keizou loudly spoke with Senju who reminded him to quiet down.

Kakucho wanted to get things going so he made a running start and blasted him. Brahman's guys were startled to see Benkei go with a single hit. Izumi flinched seeing Kachan punch someone like that. He spoke in Takemichi's defense.

"If Takemichi wishes to return to the world of delinquency, then he belongs with us, Rokuhara Tandai! Right Takemichi?"

"Huh? Wait a minute."

Takeomi laughed at the proposal to Takemichi. He even expected it from him. South would not give up however. He was insistent on having Takemichi.

"I didn't recruit the strongest in Tenjiku for nothing! Takemichi will join me!"

"Gets the blood pumpin doesn't it Waka?"

"No, not really."

A young man with long striped hair, sleepy eyes, and signature lollipop materialized next to Kakucho. He backed away nerves on fire. Takemichi couldn't believe all the scary guys that kept popping up one after another.

Benkei yelled at the former Black Dragon for "appearing glamorously" out of nowhere. He countered saying he was following Senju's orders. Rokuhara Tandai was also confused at the new faces that kept showing up.
