Emma Is Dead

Izumi was placed in a hospital room for a couple hours due to the sedative. Inupi stayed and Takemichi took Emma away from the scene. Mikey and Izana were separated and taken to the station for statements.

Izumi looked down at his side to see Inupi had fallen asleep in his lap. Instinctively, his hand moved to pet his head and run through his hair. He stared at the wall while continuously running through his hair. 

Inupi's hair was so light and fluffy despite its well kept, stiff appearance. Izumi heard bits and pieces about Izana, Koko, and the Black Dragons. He was disappointed the first meeting went so horrible. 

Oh. Right. Emma was there wasn't she? His heart started to speed up again when Mikey came back in his memories. He found him. Now the thing is, is that Mikey didn't want to go to Izana and Izumi's place so he never knew where they lived.

He shook his head and woke himself up. Right, hospital room and Inupi. He stood up and looked at him with concern. Izuku got out and searched for his clothes. He had to make sure Izana and Kachan were alright. And Emma and Takemichi too.

"Izumi? That's your name right? You should stay here."

"I hafta go. Izana. Kachan. They're hurt. I need to see them."

Inupi picked up on the distress and raised voice at the end and didn't know whether to stop him or go along with it. The door slid behind him. He scurried down the halls and doorways to find an elevator or set of stairs.

"Wait!"

He ran after him. Izumi stopped and allowed him to catch up. Izumi grabbed his hand and they entered the elevator before staff realized he was a patient on the run. Inupi gave his cell back and he texted Emma.

She and Takemichi were walking on a street a couple blocks away for some fresh air. Surprisingly it wasn't too far from them and the two eventually caught up to the pair.

He let go of Inupi and ran over to Emma who was looking at some food vending machines with Takemichi.

"Hi Emma, are you gonna buy something?"

"Hey Izumi! Takemichi and I found these vending machines that sell ramen and burgers! So weird." 

"We should all get something!" Takemichi insisted since he had extra pocket money today. Emma chose ramen. Izumi found oden in a can and Inupi stuck with the cheeseburger. Takemichi, feeling adventurous and curious picked a pizza of all things.

Her ramen came in a bowl brimming with noodles and broth. The dried soup stains and broken noodles in the door spoke of many past bowls of soup that burned fingers. Emma tried to drink some broth before picking it up and setting it down on a fence. Inupi's came in a cute little burger box but the burger itself was......sad. The buns were wet and very tough to bite through. The patty was like mush. Izumi had decided to record everyone eating their vending machine food and Inupi's was by far the best.

He captured, on video, Inupi desperately trying to tear the burger from his mouth after taking a bite. Except the bun did not want to separate from the rest. Thus a glorious moment was born. Captured on video was Inupi's head flying backwards into the metal wall, a piece of bread in his mouth and the hysterical laughter of the other three watching.

"Bwahahaha oh my god Inui! Are you good?" Takemichi

"The burger's still in his hands!" Emma

After everyone was done laughing and eating they walking alongside the street taking in the cool crisp air. Such a casual afternoon none would have expected what happened next.

There was the sound of a bike, horrified screaming, and blood so much blood. The four walked on the left side of the road. Izumi was closest to the road followed by Emma, Takemichi, and Inupi.

"HEY LOOK OUT!!"

Some was yelling from their car but it was too fast. Izumi felt like the back of his head exploded. The pain was unbearable and he was grateful to black out soon after. 

"IZUMI!!"

Emma and Takemichi immediately dropped down frantically trying to help. Inupi called for an ambulance and people in their cars stopped and ran over to help stop the bleeding.

This didn't make sense to Takemichi. As he recalled, Naoto told him that Emma Sano had died due to severe blunt force trauma to her head with something long and probably rounded. Like a bat.

Eventually the ambulance arrived and took them to away. Izumi was assessed and situated inside a room with doctors. Outside Inupi texted Izana the address and anxiously waited with the others.

Earlier Izana, Mikey, and everyone else had been released from the police station after the incident at the gardens. Once released he and Kakucho simply left. He didn't want to see Mikey's face after what went down. A family. A family was all he and Izumi ever wanted after their parents abandoned them. And Shinichiro was a good brother to him. They hung out together, watched movies with snacks and pillows. He always did his best to include the twins and make sure everyone had fun.

Truth be told Mikey was elated when Shinichiro told him they were half brothers. New siblings are always appreciated and them being twins made it all the more cute. And to think he riled himself up over a plane model.

That look on Izumi's face was the same as before. Terror. Confusion. Fear. He made a promise to meet with him again, in better circumstances to properly apologize and hoped he would be forgiven.

Shinichiro had seemed to fail to grasp the severity of the attack and trauma that occurred afterwards. Manjiro was never that violent with anyone. Not even when beating up delinquents and douche bags in general.

Emma involved herself with this by trying to convince Izumi to speak with them. He refused everytime, changed the subject, or beeline for Akira so he wouldn't have to answer. Fans noticed his odd behavior and naturally tried to ask Emma seeing as she was the closest.

"I mean, he doesn't look happy ya know?"

"Agreed. He seems sad. Is Izumi alright, Emma san?"

"Yes please tell us! You're his sister and partner. If he's feeling down then we could do something for him."

"We just want him to be happy!"

"I'll make sure to tell Izumi he has a lot of caring fans! Maybe he'll do an interview or meet up so don't worry too much 'kay!"

Izumi was all set but on the day of Izana called and apologized but he couldn't do it.

Now Izana most likely cut themselves off from the Sano family. He, Izumi, and Hitto were perfectly happy and content living together. If they had never met Shinichiro then Izumi could talk properly and live a simple but content life with Kakucho.

Doctors said he should try and talk a little everyday to exercise the vocal cords. This was done to prevent them completely failing and Izuku becoming mute.

Mikey and Shinichiro rode home. Their cells ringing incessantly. Inupi and Takemichi tried contacting the two but to no avail. 

Hanma and Kisaki sat on a shipping crate awaiting for the two boys to come back. The mission had to be a success. Two low ranking Tenjiku members entered. It was the duo on the bike that Kisaki instructed to eliminate Emma.

"Did you complete your job?"
