Time Capsule

Takemichi quickly finished his letter and tossed his item into his bag and rode down to the shrine. Mikey and Draken stood around. The twins of course came. Mitsuya and Hakkai, and finally Peh and Chifuyu. 

Each held an envelope with various things in their hands. Hakkai had planned this time capsule and not Mikey or Draken. He held a large shovel and a secure metal box with a small lock on it.

"Everyone's here so let's start!"

"We'll put in our letters first so they won't get bended." Mikey

They went in and then the items everyone bought. 

"Remember everyone, in 12 years we're gonna come back here and open it up. So don't forget it okay?" 

Mikey fondly smiled at them. Takemichi smiled too, knowing his reasoning behind the 12 year wait. Because then, that would be their perfect future. Takemichi wouldn't have to witness anymore loved ones dying or suffering.

He rode back with Mikey under the clear stars and moon. 

"Thanks for taking me home and sorry for the trouble."

"It's goodbye Takemichi."

"Hm?"

"Everyone else here is here. But you don't belong here. You belong in the future."

"..."

"I promise! In 12 years Toman and Hina will be safe and happy. I will make sure each and every one of you are happy. I promise."

"Mikey."

Oh man the tears are back! Takemichi sniffled and let them fall and fly off from the wind at Mikey's words. 

"Go back to the future Takemichi!"

Couple Days Later-

Chifuyu rode his bike around with Takemichi in the back. 

"I need to time travel again."

"I see, I'm gonna miss you."

"No. I need to go back 3 days."

"Why?"

"Because it was White Day 3 days ago and I forgot to get Hina something!! She's gonna kill me!"

Takemichi envisioned Hina with the dreaded bat aimed for him. This one had nails and spikes in just for White Day. Takemichi was losing his mind at the thought of his girlfriend being angry and killing him.

Chifuyu however, was less than amused. He thought it was important and a major event. An ager mark appeared on his cheek. Then Takemichi started shaking his shoulders causing Chifuyu to swerve.

"Calm down! We're gonna fall!"

"I can't disappoint Hinaaaaaaahhhh!"

Predictably the two crashed into some bushes.

"Sorry Chifuyu."

"Hey Takemitchy it'd be fine for you to return her valentine's gift right?"

"Wha?"

"That's right! Leave it to me! Time to initiate plan TD2D!"

They went to a nearby store and bought some little boxes with ribbons and a memo pad. This was Chifuyu's genius plan to woo back Hina. He had Takemichi write down the previous dates from 3 days ago.

Next he wrote little riddles and placed a box at the solution. Then another riddle was inside. The final box contained a ring, Hina's gift. 

"This plan is amazing! Thanks Chifuyu!"

"No problem partner! Now call her and I'll be watching from the bushes!"

Everything was set. Hina arrived in a cute little skirt with black tights and coat. She was slightly confused but lit up seeing Takemichi. Chifuyu peeked out and was confused to see Hina apologizing to Takemichi.

"What are they doing? Hurry it up partner!"

Nothing happened. Hina then appeared to cry while talking. This wasn't supposed to happen. He was getting antsy since he couldn't hear what they were saying. Especially when Takemichi went straight to the last hiding spot instead of the slide.

"Hina, this is for you."

Takemichi held out the simple and lovely ring for her. She stared at it while sniffling. Then back up at him.

"For me?"

"What the hell is going on?! The plan's totally ruined."

"I don't have special powers or a lot of money. I just want to make you happy. Happier than anyone. So please. Marry me!"

Her swollen eyes widened as she stopped crying. Chifuyu's jaw dropped and his face reddened at the proposition. 

"When you're sad, come to me and I'll make it go away! I never want to see you suffer! So please, don't cry, because I love you, Hinata Tachibana."

She couldn't help but tear up at his loving words towards her. Takemichi really meant it all didn't her? He put his hands on her shoulders.

"In 12 years let's get married."

Naoto spotted Chifuyu and he came out of hiding to the lovebirds. The younger brother was shocked to hear that they would be getting married. Takemichi laughed and reminded him it would be when they were older.

Chifuyu grumbled about how is proposal surprised him too. Takemichi turned to Naoto and held out his hand. 

"This is the first time we shook hands, at this very park Naoto. Let's make this one our last. I want to thank you for believing me. Without you, this moment wouldn't have existed and I wouldn't have met so many amazing people."

"So.....this means my sister and I are alive in the future?"

"Absolutely!"

He smiled at Hina and Chifuyu and promised to meet in the future as he shook with Naoto. The familiar flash of light and darkness appeared.

Takemichi was at a bathroom and saw someone tinkling in the reflection. He silently cheered. Naoto was alive in this timeline. The bathroom was much nicer than others and he noticed the tuxedo he wore.

Then church bells chimed loudly from outside. This could only mean one thing. He and Hina were getting married! He raced out and stumbled onto Hina who wore a nice dress and earrings.

"There you are! The reception is about to start! We can't miss the groom!"

"Wait. Groom?!"

"Pah's wedding ceremony is today!"

She continued to drag him to the room where the ceremony was taking place. 

"You're late, Takemitchy."

"Grab a seat."

Those voices were eerily familiar. Then an announcer spoke and introduced Pah looking slightly nervous and his smiling and happy bride standing next to him. Takemichi couldn't believe Pah was getting married of all people.

His table was at the back allowing him a good look of everyone else who came. Kazutora yelling at Pah for making a weather forecast. Peh yelling at him to shut up because of Pah's nerves. Mitusya, Hakkai, and the twins all laughing and chatting.

Draken interjecting with now black hair and Chifuyu who dyed his hair back to its natural color smiling at Takemichi. He felt his eyes water at the beautiful scene. Everyone was alive and celebrating a wonderous moment.

And yet, weren't some people missing from this scene?
