Kakucho was sitting with them at a lunch table eating a messily made bento from Izumi. Broken rice balls with egg and green onion inside. Baby tangerines and his favorite cumin lamb skewer chips with a little juice box to finish it off. Izumi played with the ends of his hair as he looked away a little pink.

"Izana is way better at making bentos than I am. You don't have to eat it."

He trailed off and hid his face against Izana who chuckled and patted his back. He found it endearing when Izumi tried his best for others. The school didn't know their "parents" ditched but parent teacher conferences were over already.

So right now it was Izana and Izumi inhabiting the humongous penthouse by themselves. As such the radio or tv would play in the background to fill it in. Izumi wanted to go to the police for help but when Izana told Kakucho he looked worried.

"There's a big chance you and Izumi will be separated. Orphanages fill up fast so if there's not enough room.."

Hearing that he sorta zoned out unable to listen to what else Kakucho was saying. He could feel his heart beating faster and start to sweat. He envisioned officials dragging him away as he cried out for him. Two arms held him back for helping as he screamed and fought to save him.

"-ana? Izana? Hey!"

Kakucho stopped when he saw the fearful expression and his body shaking but nothing came out. He called out a few times and that seemed to bring him back to their world. Izana scratched his head and told Kakucho he was never gonna leave his twin behind.

He nodded and glanced at Izumi who was happily eating his own bento, professionally prepared by Izana of course. As they resumed eating he mulled over Izana's words. It was understandable. At the orphanage he met other children who cried after being taken to a different institution than their brother or sister. Or the case of a family adopting one child and not the other as well.

They played at their usual playground, if you could call it that. It was actually an abandoned play center behind Mizo Middle. It sat half empty half complete. Rumors circled and none of the delinquents wanted to try their luck. Kiyomasa sent a lackey to investigate but he didn't even make it to the play center.

He was in a cold sweat and words stumbled over themselves. With bugged out eyes he claimed he heard a child's maniacal laughter. That did it for him. He dared not to even go near that place. And so it was the perfect hang out for the twins and Kakucho.

(BTW, it was Izumi the lackey heard. A normal, innocent, blissful laughter from being pushed on the swing. The wind carrying it gave it the horror maniacal vibe.)

Izumi was watching Kakucho play tic tac toe with Izana to watch out for "cheating". Even though he knew him for only a week, Izumireally liked Kakucho. He was nice and knew a lot of games to play and ate the entire bento he made. He wished that he could live with them like a forever sleepover.

"I wish Kachan could stay with us."

Izumi absent mindedly mumbled. Izana looked up and weighed potential pros and cons of having their best friend move in. Lots of pros. Kakucho could be happier living with people close to him and the boys could benefit from him as well. Cons. Izana didn't know Kakucho well enough and he might have pet peeve habits. Well, what's the worst that could happen?! *Chuckles*

"Do you wanna live with us Hitto?"

"I don't know. I'll think about it."

Izumi's face fell when he said so he quickly added that he would think it over. He lit up again and resumed whatever it was he did. Izana brought him to the swings and contentedly pushed him.

Izana was washing Izumi's hair while he played with a rubber taiyaki (lol). He reeeeally wanted Kakucho to live with them after realizing how the other kids avoided him. It was all he talked about until he konked out.

Mumbling 'kachan' occasionally in his sleep. Izana smiled next to him under the blanket and snuggled up feeling rather drowsy himself.

Kakucho lay on the top bunk in some shorts and a t shirt. He stared at the ceiling listen to his roommates snore or whisper to each other. The mattress was old and thin so he couldn't really get comfortable anyways. The pillow was lumpy from being pressed on in the same spots, causing the filling to pile up.

He shifted and faced the wall. The truth was that Kakucho would LOVE to live with his best friends. But he didn't want to impose on them and be a burden. Izumi was ready to welcome him with open arms and Izana liked the idea as well. They had some empty rooms for him and his own bathroom and stuff.

He delicately touched his scar and made his choice. He would tell Izana at school tomorrow.

Shinichiro walked into the dojo where it was suspiciously quiet. Thinking they'd been kidnapped he ran to a living room that opened to the outside and slid the doors. Emma was reading Shonen Jump on the tatami mats but Manjiro and Keisuke weren't.

His heart raced a little when she said they were in his room to play on the tv. He was exhausted after driving all over the city asking about the babies. Shinichiro was not sure that he put the box back up on the shelf.

The door was open and he heard voices. Shinichiro pushed the door aside and frantically looked around.

Manjiro and Keisuke huddled around the almighty box he failed to hide. When they turned around, Manjiro held the photo in his grasp. He moved to take it from him but crashed into the wall.

"Give me that Manjiro!"

"No. Where'd you get this from? Did you hide it? Who are they? Did you really get some girl pregnant?!"

"Please hand it over!"

He relented when Shinichiro promised to buy him dorayaki from the Family Mart. He'd probably blabber about this to Emma and Grampa. Which meant the box had to stay elsewhere. What a mess.

Kakucho dropped down and headed towards the bathroom to brush and wash up. Their bus was waiting outside and he couldn't miss it. He grabbed his backpack and climbed on, ready to tell Izana.

Izana was sitting at his desk coloring with Izumi. He perked up when he saw Kakucho standing at the classroom's entrance.

"Hi Kachan!"

"Hi Izumi! Izana, I've made my decision!"

"You did?"

So lovely readers I want your input! Does Kakucho live with Izana and Izumiu in the penthouse or does he stay at the orphanage? Since I am trying to post a chapter a day, please leave a comment soon! I personally am leaning towards him moving in. Please let me know what you think!
