Chapter 11

"Try me." I say as Josh throws a piece of popcorn in his mouth.
He laughs, "Are you sure you can catch it? I am the master at catching popcorn in my mouth."
I roll my eyes playfully, "Please!"
Josh smiles then grabs a piece and tosses it. I open my mouth and catch it perfectly.
"Who's the master now?" I yell!
Josh grabs a piece of popcorn and throws it at me.
"You want to play that game?" I laugh.
I grab a handful and toss one at his face.
He grabs a handful as well and starts throwing more at me as I run around the sand tossing pieces of popcorn back at him.
"Still think you can get my number now Hyland?" I ask.
"Maybe now that I'm gonna do this." Josh comes up behind me and picks me up.
I kick my legs up and scream.
"Hyland put me down!" I scream.
Josh starts running around.
He then puts me down and I turn to him, "Number?" He asks so close to my face I can feel his breath on my blushing cheeks.
"Not yet." I say turning away.
This boy has to try harder than picking me up to get my number.////end of chapter 11
