"So you're mom called." My dad says opening my bedroom door.

I lock my phone and stare him straight in the eye, "About what?"

"She wants you to come home early so you can start talking about college and figuring out your schedule."

I look at him, not saying anything.

"She told you didn't she?" He asks.

"She didn't tell me that. I was going to ask her why she sounded so uneasy but I was with Josh."

"That's in 1 month."

"I know."

"Did she talk to you about staying here?"

I widen my eyes, "She talked to you about that?"

"No."

I sigh.

"But I think if we talk to her about it she may let you transfer."

I smile, "Really?"

"Only if she says yes!"

"Thank you dad!" I say running over to him giving him a hug.

"Don't get your hopes up though!"

I laugh, "When do I ever get my hopes up?"

Right after my dad and I finished talking I drove over to Josh's house.

I started knocking on the door.

His mom answered it, "Hi! Chloe?" She asks.

I nod, "I need to talk to josh."

"Josh said you might be coming over soon."

I raise my eyebrow.

"He's upstairs. It's nice to finally meet you by the way. I forgot to say that this morning." She says.

I smile, "You too." Then run upstairs.

I open Josh's door and he is laying on his bed watching a movie, shirtless.

I look down at my shoes realizing I just bombarded into his room.

"Hey babe!" He says. 

"Hi." I say looking up.

"You're dad texted me saying you'd be here roughly, in 10 minutes. If you sped."

"It was like 12." I say sitting on his bed.

"What's up?" He asks leaning on his elbows.

"My dad and I are going to convince my mom to see if I can stay here."

"Forever?"

I laugh, "For a long time."

Josh gives me a quick kiss, "That's amazing!"

"But we still don't know."

"Well like I said whatever decision you make I will stand right beside you."

I smile and lean against him.

"Me too."
