"Hello?"

"Hey Paige its Chloe!"

"Oh hey! What's up?"

"Where's Mikey, Brandon, and Josh?"

"Um I think they are at Mikey's. Why?"

"Meet me at the dock in 10 minutes and bring everyone you know that lives here."

She hesitates, "Ok why though?"

"Just do it! I will explain when you get here."

"Hey gorgeous!" Josh coos into the phone.

I look over at Paige and smirk, "Hey um are you at Mikey's with Brandon?"

"Um yeah what's up?"

"Can you guys come meet me at the dock? I want to meet Paige at the ice cream place. And I want you guys to come. I haven't seen you since this morning." I roll my eyes playfully.

"Sure we will be there in 2 minutes."

I smile, "Ok I'll be waiting."

Then the call ended.

I look at Paige and laugh.

"Places!" I yell.

"Hey!" I say leaning into Josh trying not to move my arms.

"You ok?" He asks looking at my folded arms behind my back.

"Yeah I just do this when I'm standing still for a long time."

Josh gives me a confused look, "Ok. Should we get going?"

I shake my head, "She is actually going to meet us here! The ice cream place closed early due to power outage." That's a lie.

"Ok is she coming?" Mikey asks.

"So I was thinking later we could all meet at the beach?" I say trying to change the subject.

"Or unless you guys don't want to get wet again." I smirk.

Josh looks at me, confused, again, "Wet?"

I smile and yell, "Now!"

Everyone comes running out of there hiding spots and chuck water balloons at Josh, Mikey, and Brandon.

I unfold my arms and throw the 3 balloons I had at each boy, a few balloons hitting my back.

Josh looks at me in shock.

Once there are no more water balloons I start to laugh.

"Well Played Blondie." Josh says.

"I'm pretty damn good at revenge if i do say so myself." I brush my shoulders.

"So Paige isn't coming." Mikey asks.

I laugh and shake my head.

"You're almost dry." I say turning over on my stomach.

"Yeah." Josh says lifting his head to look at his shirt.

"Truths." I say sticking out my hand.

Josh grins, "Truths." Instead of shaking my hand he leans over and kisses me.

I look at him surprised then lay back down on my back looking up at the stars.

"Shouldn't you be getting back home? Your dad could be there soon?" Josh asks sounding concerned.

"No. This is better." I say digging my head farther into Josh's chest. ////end of chapter 21
