That morning I woke up with a smile on my face.

But it quickly went away when my phone went off.

I roll over on my side and grab my phone.

Max.

I hesitate to answer but then I find myself clicking the green button.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chloe! Look I'm so sorry for what I said. I never meant to get that pissed."

I bite my lip, "Thanks but can we please talk about something."

"Shoot."

"I think we should take a break." I state quickly.

"What why?" He sounds frustrated.

"I think just for now. I know we have been dating for almost a year but this summer I want to not worry if you are sleeping with my best friend. I can't handle a long distance relationship. I'm really sorry." I fiddle with my jewels on my phone case.

"We could work it out-"

I interrupt him, "I'm sorry but I have been thinking about this a lot and it seems like the right thing to do. Once I get back we can talk and work it out. I just need time to find out what I really want."

Before he gets in another word I end the call.

I run my fingers along the rim of my eyes and then sit up.

I have too many problems in my life.
