*Author's POV*

It is the same day, it is Karva Chauth today along with Abhinavi's wedding anniversary for which they are having a party... Fainat, accidental moguls are with their family and some other Abhinavi's friends are invited over (kids included) ... It was planned that first, the people who kept the fast will break their fast after seeing the moon and then they will cut the cake and have food... As they waited for the moon, the crowd requested the band to perform for them...

Rohan: I and Avneet, we are preparing for a little something for our next concert... Do you guys want to hear that?

Abhay: Ya, that will be fun... 

Sid: Why only you and Avneet, why not we all?

Avni: Because you guys aren't aware of that little something, yet?

Ayush: Why is that so?

Rohan: That you will get to know that once we perform...

Sid: I think you guys shouldn't...

Avni: Why?

Sid: I mean, why don't we all perform as a group, that will be better...

Rohan: Siddharth, can I talk to you for a second?

And he dragged him to a corner before he could demand an explanation...

Sid: What are you doing?

Rohan: What am I doing? What are you doing? Why are you behaving like that? I have been noticing your strange behaviour for quite some time now but today you were way out of the line...

Sid: What do you mean by that?

Rohan: You know what I mean by that... I am talking about the way you interrupt me whenever I am talking to her or something about her... Like what is your problem...

Sid: My problem is that I don't trust you around her... I don't want you to play with her feelings... She has gone through a lot in her life and I won't like it if you hurt her ...

Rohan: Have you gone crazy or something? I know I have a playboy image but this is the Avneet you are talking about... She is our bandmate and I won't hurt her ever... I can't even think of hurting her... I mean she is like my bro, like you and Sumedh and Ayush and Madhav, like that kind of bro... I fucking respect her like she is so brave and I admire that... I admire her love for music and I admire her as a person but that doesn't mean I like her or something... Yes, we do flirt sometimes but that is a healthy flirt and even you guys do that... Does that mean you are hitting on her or vice versa? Then, why do you have a problem when it is me? I didn't know you thought this low of me... I might be a playboy but I respect the woman I work with and I would never fool around with them... But still, if you are not comfortable seeing us together then I won't perform with her, happy?

Rohan: Guys, I think I should perform alone...

Avni: Why?

Rohan: I think we should save our performance for later and only show others when it is fully ready... Plus, I genuinely want to tease Ayush...

Ayush: Hey, that is not fair... We are all members of a band and we deserve to know about the projects as much as you too...

Rohan: Whatever I am performing alone, okay Avneet?

Avni: Okay...

Sid: Wait-

But Rohan went up on the stage to perform leaving Siddharth awkward and embarrassed... He realized how uncomfortable he had made the other boy with his constant doubts... He also realized how judgemental and stupid he was... After all, he doubted his best friend or was it because he was jealous but again, why would he be jealous? Anyways, Rohan stood on the stage with a mic in hand and confidence in his eyes and music in the background... He was tapping his feet to the tune of Jai Jai Shivshankar (from War) and the crowd went crazy knowing how fun the performance it's going to be, after all, they get to see the amazing moves of Rohan along with his angelic voice...

Sid looked at his best friend performing with guilt in his eyes... He knew he needed to fix it so he went on the stage from behind and sang further surprising everyone, especially Rohan...

Rohan turned at looked at him, his lips automatically turned into a smile...

Siddharth held his ear with his free hand and Rohan laughed before extending his arms... Siddharth happily went to him and they hugged... And their friends and family cheered for them... The band did notice the tension between the boys and were truly glad that it was all good now...

And they continued singing before ending their performance with yet another hug... But before they could break the hug, Rohan whispered something in Sid's ear leaving him in shock...

Rohan (whispers): Tell her...

Sid (Confused): Huh?

Rohan: Tell her you like her...

Sid: Umm-I-

Rohan: Fuck, don't tell me that you didn't realize that yet...

Sid: I-she is my best friend...

Rohan: You are telling me or to yourself... 

Jan: What are you boys discussing up there? Stop gossiping and clear the stage, Faisu is going to perform next...

Sid: What?

Faisu: I have a special act prepared for my beloved Abhishek and Vaishnavi...

Sid: I think I will call it a night... Good night, everyone...
