A/N: I have a lot of people asking that- what is a false alarm? So here is a thing, I thought it is called false alarm but in real it is called false labor, so what last chapter meant was false labor... For those who don't know what a false labor is, for them in very simple language it is when a pregnant woman feels like she is having a baby right now but she is not; there is still time left for her delivery... 

*Author's POV*

Aly: Hi, I am Riyaz Aly; I have been called by Dr. Singh...

Receptionist: Wait for a second sir...

And she checked the records...

Receptionist: You can wait in front of room 201, she will get to you in a minute...

Aly: Okay, thank you...

Receptionist: Sure sir...

And he looked for the room, when she saw Vaish and Vibha sitting on a bench...

Aly: Thank you for bring her here... You guys can leave now, I am here...

Sid: No, thanks... We are good...

He said coming from behind... He gave water to Vibha and stood leaning on the wall in front of them, eyeing Aly... Aly rolled his eyes at him and stood near him...

Aly: How come you are with her every time, when she is not feeling well?

Sid: Shouldn't the bigger question be- how come you are never there?

Aly: Because she is my ex-wife... I am not supposed to be with her and so do you...

Sid: Really? Is that your answer? She wasn't your ex-wife when Sam got hurt, neither was she when she got hurt with glass... Was she?

Aly: Do you think all this would make me feel bad? If you do, then jokes on you mister, I don't feel bad...

Sid: Oh of course you don't, you insensitive piece of shit...

Aly: What did you just call me?

Sid: I called you exactly what you are, a piece of shit...

Aly: And what are you? A man who couldn't control her wife and is now drooling over a pregnant woman... 

Sid: I am not drooling over anyone; she is my friend and I don't think you should really be proud of the fact that you control your wife...

Vibha: Just shut up you both... We are in a hospital, at least be sensitive about that...

And they both looked in the opposite direction making a 'pissed' face...

Nurse: Mr. Riyaz?

Aly: Yes...

Nurse: Dr. Singh wants to speak to you...

And he went inside the cabin with the nurse...

Sid: How can Anushka choose him over me? He wasn't even loyal towards a woman, who is a freaking saint, how does she know that he will be loyal to her...

Vaish: How can he know that she can be loyal to him, when she wasn't loyal to a man like you... 

Sid: ......

Vaish: I know you don't like him, neither do I... But talking like that to him or about him will not do you or him any good... Stop spoiling your mouth for a man like him...

And he nodded, understanding her words... When his alarm went off...

Sid: It is time to pick up Anaya from school, I will try to be back as soon as possible... 

Vaish: No, mom can you go? He probably should be here, I don't trust Riyaz...

Vibha: Ya, of course...
.
And she stood up to go when Sid interrupted...

Sid: Let me book you a cab and also bring Sam along with you... God knows how much time it will take in here...

Vibha: Okay...

And she left, and Sid and Vaish waited for Avni patiently... Well, not really; it was taking time and they were worried... 

--An hour later--

Riyaz came out...

Sid: Is she okay?

Aly: Ya, ya... It was false labor, just as you thought...

Vaish: Then why did it took so long?

Aly: Doctor was running some tests; just was being 100% sure, that's all... She will be free to go in a minute or two... 

Sid: Okay...

Aly: I should probably go now; she might not want to see me after what happened in the court today...

And he left before giving or taking any other word... As Riyaz said, she was free to go in a while and she went to her place, after picking up Sam from Sid's...

Avni: Hello...

Vaish: Hi, Avneet I have good news for you...

Avni: What? Are you pregnant too?

Vaish: No, I am not risk having another Atharav... The news is good for you...

Avni: What is the news?

Vaish: Riyaz took the case back...

Avni (shocked): What?? 

Vaish: I know right, I was shocked too; but his attorney took the case back... Oh god if he wouldn't have; you might have lost it...

Avni: Why?

Vaish: You know because we didn't have the proof...

Avni: Not that, why did he take the case back?

Vaish: Well, I don't know but aren't happy that he can't take Sam from you now...

Avni: I am but why would he take back the case, when he was winning it...

Vaish: Maybe he thought that you might say something in the court tomorrow...

Avni: I don't think so, he is not the one who gets scared easily, it's so unusual of him... Something is wrong... 

Vaish: Should I investigate deeper?

Avni: No, I will- let me talk to Riyaz... Thank You...

Vaish: Just call me if you need anything, okay?

Avni: Ya, thank you...

Vaish: Sure...

And the call ended... Avni was really confused that why Riyaz took the cake back... She knew him too well to believe that he had a change of heart... She knew something was seriously wrong... So, she called him...

Avni: What are you cooking? Why did you take the case back?

Aly: Aren't you happy? I expected you to be happy??

Avni: Stop playing this game, tell me the truth...

Aly: umm-I can't tell you over phone... Can I come over?
