*Author's POV*

They look at the moon through a sieve and then at their moon through the same (okay that was cheesy) ... Couples stare at each other while sidneet stared at them from a distance... Yes, there were other people too, there was Vibha and Rohan and Madhav and kids of course but neither of them felt the way they felt... It was their first Karva after their divorce... Their exes already had someone to celebrate it with but, they just had memories... Thye might have moved on or at least tried to but they cannot help but miss their ex-lovers... It was probably the first time that they felt this strong need to have their better halves... They were surrounded by other people yet they were alone... And they felt that loneliness, they felt it hard... Vibha, being a mother, saw this loneliness of her children and she knew a way to fill that space but she was too scared to say it aloud... She was too scared to ask her son and someone like her own daughter to look for a life partner... But today seeing them like this made her wonder that maybe they want the same thing too but are too scared to initiate... Maybe they are too scared to get hurt again or maybe they are scared of how people will react... So, she decided to talk to them...

*Next Day*

Vibha: Avneet, Siddharth, I want to talk to you both... 

Sid: Yes mom...

Vibha: Come and sit here...

She asked pointing at a sofa...

Avni: Aunty, is everything fine?

Vibha: Everything is fine... Can't I just talk to you both...

Abhay: What happened, mom?

Vibha: Nothing... Call Vaishnavi, I have something to say...

Abhay: Ohkay...

And he brought Vaishnavi...

Vibha: Okay, Avneet, I know it is not my place to say but I think we have that bonding and understanding for me to say these things... I hope you don't mind...

Avni: It's okay Aunty feel free to say whatever you want to say...

Vibha: Okay... I know that you both, Avneet and Siddharth are independent, strong, beautiful people and you don't need someone in your life... But you guys might want them... My husband died when Abhishek and Siddharth were young and I didn't remarry because I was afraid of what people might think but because I didn't want or need to... I loved my husband and he loved me back and that love was enough for me to keep me moving but in your case, you guys don't have that love but a feeling of betrayal and dissatisfaction... I am not saying that you should just marry someone but I want you both to at least consider an option of love... I want you guys to have an open mind and not push away the feeling of belongingness... I want you guys to see people and think about dating them... I want you guys to give yourself another chance to love... Not for your children, not because you need it but because you want it... 

Avni: What if you are incapable of loving again?

Vibha: The biggest myth around there is that it is love that makes a relationship successful... It is love that keeps it going... The truth is that it is respect that makes a relationship keep going... It is giving respect to each other, giving respect to the relationship you have, respecting each other's opinions, their wants, their aims, their goals... It is giving and taking respect like you both are equals... No matter if it is an arranged marriage or a love marriage, as long as you respect the other, your relationship is going to work... Abhishek and Vaishnavi think they got married because they love each other... You know what Avneet when Abhishek asked her to marry him, he told her that he wants to work hard and build his business and that he knows that he can give his wife more priority than his work but he cannot promise the same for his girlfriend... He gave her a choice to either marry him or leave him... You know what her answer was... 

Vaish: I told him that his dreams are my dreams and I will support him no matter what... And to support him, I have to be with for forever... I agreed to marry him...

Vibha: If Vaishnavi didn't respect his choice of getting married that early then they might have not ended up getting married... And if he didn't respect her support and kept his promise then they might have broken up already... Thye have built their careers while they were married to each other, they have respected other goals and aims and understood that the other ones work might get the priority sometimes... And that is what made them what they are today... I have seen Abhay waiting for Vaish at night to have dinner with him despite having an early meeting the next day... I have seen Vaish staying up all night, competing for her whole work, clearing her slots just to go on a party with Abhay's colleagues the next day... I have seen them respecting each other and respecting the fact that the other's career, other's wishes, other's dreams are equally important as their own... I have even seen them keeping each other and their son at first without regretting it even for a second... And I am so proud of them for that...

And Abhinavi held each other held before giving it a tight squeeze while looking at each other with love and respect and pride in eyes...

Vibha: Look at them and have that... Don't let them spoil your life... Find someone you can love and respect, find someone who can love and respect you... Don't be so sad... Do it for yourselves... Give yourselves another chance...
