"You have a letter from the crown-prince, little sister." Nene almost choked on her warm green tea, looking at her older brother with slightly widened eyes. She coughed lightly, making sure it looked formal, and got up then stride towards her older sibling.
Gently receiving the neatly, expensive looking envelope that the letter from Satan himself sent it to her personally. She gulped lightly, and bowed to his brother and muttered a quick thanks. Her nervousness was rising up high, just only thinking about the prince made a shiver ran up her spine.
Her brother, Kaito, had risen a brow of his own. "You.. Didn't do anything to offend the crown-prince, did you?" He asked, crossing his arms. His index digit tapping onto his arm as in waiting for an answer.
Nene quickly shook her head, her mental state already in distress. "No! How would I dare? I haven't done anything at all, believe me dear brother. I haven't seen since the 12th princess's debutante!" She explained, although she was exaggerating a bit.
"Alright, alright. I'll believe you." He walk towards her and patted her head gently, he smiled. "But please do calm yourself, I don't like seeing you in this state." Nene nodded in response, her head hung low. "Excellent. Now, would you care to read that letter? I am quite curious as to why would the crown-prince suddenly sent you a letter since he rarely does it."
Obliging to him, Nene slowly and steadily opened the envelope. The expensive paper placed on the small tea-table, she slowly breathe out and tried to calm herself.
Starts reading the letter, her eyes widening in each word she read. Her heart thumping against the ribcage and she thought it was gonna burst out any moment. Her breathing clogged in her throat as her fingernails nearly ripped the letter.
Her brother noticing this, he quickly placed his hands on her shoulder and began reassuring her. What despicable thing did she read to that letter that made her state became even more stressed-out?
"What did it say?" He asks after she finally calmed down, her younger sister looked horrified, did the prince threatened her?
"He.. He demands an engagement from me."

Chairs flew everywhere in the room, teacups shattered as it impacted against the wall. Tables broken, a worried and distressed husband trying to calm his angered wife.
"THAT BASTARD OF A PRINCE, DEMANDS AN ENGAGEMENT FROM MY DAUGHTER?!?" Duchess Yashiro threw another chair, her curly hair now messy and knotted. "WHAT A LOAD OF BULLCRAP! NOT EVEN POLITELY ASKING HER, WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO HIS CRAZED MIND?!"
Hearing this, Duke Yashiro became increasingly worried. "D-dear! You shouldn't say such things! Insulting the Royals can lead to execution! There might be spies!"
Her wife became more and more chaotic, shouting curses. "I DON'T CARE! THIS IS TRULY BARBARIC DARLING, AFTER ALL WE HAVE THE MOST HIGHEST STATUS OUT OF ALL THE DUKES, WE CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. I'LL EXTERMINATE THAT SON OF A-" She shouted angrily, the servants cowering in fear.
Nene simply sighed at the sight of her mother being informal in front of the many servants. A look of shock and surprise on their features but she couldn't blame them, the kind, loving-natured Duchess had turned into this.
Her brother, though, was merely chuckling at the entertaining sight. "My, my. I didn't know mother had a side like this. It's truly a rare sight." She sighed at her brother's antics, her mind drifted elsewhere, seemingly the crown prince.
