•Two Days Later•The meeting is being held today. Avery just finished building the structure. I believe it's called a gazebo. Avery said it came to her in one of her memories a few nights ago.
I haven't spoken to Liam ever since the fight. I won't lie, I'm a little nervous that everyone is going to be there.
There have been three new people. Two of them came up together, and one of them came up solo. Ivy, Devyn, and Anthony. They seem like pretty cool people. I mean, Anthony is a little anxious about a lot of stuff, but I can't really blame him. Ivy and Devyn are really nice people. Only one more name is on that wall. Miles.
I've also fixed up my arm. Avery gave me some bandages the next morning. She also asked what happened but I lied and said that my arm got cut by some sharp rocks over by the lake. I'm surprised she bought it, but at the same time rocks can be pretty sharp.
My house is half way done. I've stayed up late for the last two days so I can get a lot built. I'm finally close to having a place to call home! It's actually turning out pretty good so far, too. I have to admit, I had a little help from Avery, but most of it was me. I think after this meeting I might take a break from building my house for a few days.
The meeting is supposed to be held midday, and that's pretty soon. I can see Avery already setting things up in the distance.
I spoke with some of the new people, and I spoke to Isla. Liam has been keeping quiet, and so has Dylan. Tanner has stopped by some, too. Claire and Thomas have been sticking together ever since they came up with each other. I think they even live together. Denis has been helping Avery with the meeting. Amber and Gulia have been really quiet, too.
I haven't been paying much attention to what people are discussing around the Clearing, though. I've been focused on my house and trying to fix my arm. It hurts a lot whenever I have to bend it, and I probably shouldn't be building a house with it. Most of the work has been done with my right arm anyways.
I've also been thinking a lot about what Tanner said when we had our talk and he gave me the Javelin. I did run in there to keep Liam out of trouble, but I don't really see it as anything else.
I've also been trying to make some sort of carrier for the Javelin. I don't know what it's called, but I want to make something so that the Javelin can sit on my back and I can reach it whenever.
A few minutes later, I looked around the Clearing and noticed there were already a few people at the meeting table.
I decided to head over there.
Denis, Avery, Claire, Thomas, and Amber were all there helping organize last minute stuff.
"Need any help?" I asked with a smile and a wave. Avery stopped arranging seats and waved at me.
"Nope! Just finished everything!" She said while looking at Denis who was working on the roof type structure above her.
"All done up here!" He called down as he climbed down the wooden ladder on the side.
"We're done here!" Claire said. Thomas nodded in agreement beside her. They seemed to be working on the aesthetic of the structure, which seems like a Claire and Thomas thing to do.
Amber's red hair flew with the wind as she gave a thumbs up.
"Now it's just a matter of when everyone shows up." Avery stated.
"How's the arm doing by the way?" Claire asked going over to the table and taking a seat. Thomas sat down next to her, and I decided to do the same and sit on the other side of Claire. Avery came over and sat next to me while Denis went to go put the ladder up.
A conversation broke amongst the members who were already seated at the table, while slowly the people who weren't already there started arriving separately.
You could tell that a few people weren't exactly sure how this would go and were a bit nervous.
The conversations continued as new members introduces themselves to people they haven't even met yet.
"Okay. Let's get this started!" Avery announced loudly enough for everyone to hear over their conversations. I looked around the table and saw Liam in between Dylan and Gulia.
"Before we do, though, we need to establish some guidelines. Although these should be common knowledge, I have trust issues. I'm sure you can all understand," Denis stated as he stood up. Murmurs spread around the table, but quickly quieted down. "First, to make sure everything goes smoothly, listen to everyone's opinions and sides. Try not to talk over somebody and wait until they finish speaking. No physical fights, or no hurting each other. Lastly, don't go after somebody after this meeting is over and try and harm them. It's irresponsible and will most likely not be worth it."
I couldn't help but feel the need to look at Liam who glared back at me.
"With all of that being said, who would like to share their side first?" Denis questioned, sitting back down in his seat.

A/N (please read): I don't know much about the whole district and division lore (if there is a lot to begin with) so if I get stuff wrong, my apologies. If I do find out more about it, I'll come back and change things. Again, apologies. The third clearing will learn about the other clearings and get introduced to the actual members of the SMP soon. Hope you enjoy the story so far! Thank you for 100 reads!! <3
