(Not good at describing food so I'm not going to name a specific meal. Just going to say delicious food lmao). Also I'm uploading today because I didn't upload yesterday, and yes there will be another upload tomorrow. I didn't upload yesterday because I had a hard time.
The three plates in front of us were filled with a tasty looking meal from Isla. No meat has been sent up in the box yet, and Devyn's the only one I gave fish to, so it was only vegetables sitting on the plate and it still made my mouth water at the sight. Freshly cooked goods with a little bit of salt and pepper could make any meal a good one.
"Is there a name for your dish, Isla?" Avery asked formally.
"It's called Isla's Vegetable Platter. A simple name for a simple meal," Isla explained with a short bow.
"I like that," I commented with a smile.
"Let's hope your food is as good as it looks," Gulia said.
"And as good as it smells," Avery added as we began to dig into the delicious food in front of us.
My mouth was immediately met with the luscious taste of cooked green beans and mashed potato. Buttered corn on a cob sat on the side and I couldn't help but sink my teeth into it's juicy kernels. A small bit of fiery pepper dotted my tongue, like a fire lit inside of my mouth and was put out only seconds after. However, I did notice that it was a little bland and treacly taste that didn't fit in well with the other flavors. I did enjoy the salt and spicy mixture as well as the food choices though.
As all three of us finished our samples of the meal, the Clearing members waited anxiously for our responses.
"Well, it certainly was a wonderful dish! The mix of salt and spice was stunning, and I really loved all the food choices. The corn had the perfect amount of salt and butter on it, and it was probably my favorite part of the meal. However, there was a little bit of a sweet taste and I don't really think it fits in well with the salt and spice." I stated as I then turned to Avery, waiting for her statement.
"I agree with Brielle. The food was absolutely splendid! It's that little taste of sweetness that throws the whole mood off a tiny bit." Avery said.
"I knew I added something in there I wasn't supposed to," Isla said with a laugh.
Gulia smiled, "Personally, I think it was the tiny bit of blandness that threw it off for me. The corn and mashed potato were delicious. I'm not really a spice person, so I don't like that part, but I won't count that against anything because that's just my taste. It was definitely a really nice meal to eat. I enjoyed it a lot."
Isla nodded and gave another short bow as the Clearing members applauded her work. She then proceeded to gather up the plates in front of us and bring them back to her tent to clean up.
The clapping died down, and Devyn stepped up and placed his dishes in front of us.
"Alright Devyn, What is the name of this meal in front of us?" Avery asked.
"Devyn's NoName Plate, I kind of forgot about the name part," Devyn said causing me and a few others to let out a laugh.
"Alright Devyn, I hope this meal is as delicious as Isla's is," Gulia said as we all dug in.

"Let's start with Gulia this time," Avery said motioning for Gulia to start.
"Well, I enjoyed this dish a lot. Both contestants did wonderfully today." She started. Isla finished her cleaning and now stood a little bit behind Devyn. "I absolutely adored how you put the perfect amount of both salt and sweet. It's hard to make those two work well, and you did it beautifully. However, the food choices weren't really what I would go for." She explained. Devyn nodded and smiled at her response.
