⚠️TW: Swearing, Arguing⚠️

Liam, Tanner, Gulia, and Dylan all offered to go first, which turned into the first argument. They started to interrupt each other and it was hard to hear anything they were saying. Gulia stayed a bit quiet while the boys argued.

The argument was quickly shut down by Avery clapping her hands together, causing everyone to quiet down. She explained how they had basically already broken one of the guidelines Denis had stated before, and how Gulia is going to go first since she really didn't do anything.

"It is safe in here, yes," Gulia started causing some mumbles of agreement and disagreement. "But if there is really a way to get out of here and it's through that maze, we should look for it. Not everyone should be allowed in it, though. We should have somebody lead people throughout the maze and make sure everyone gets out before those doors close. We should have somebody keep things in order here in the Clearing while they search the maze." She explained looking around the table at everyone. "That is what I think," She finished.

"What if you get lost in the Maze?" Dylan asked. A few people nodded at Dylan's question and turned back to Gulia, waiting for an answer. Gulia seemed to be struggling with trying to search for an answer.

"Then we'll have to map it out," I suggested, dragging the attention away from Gulia.

"I like that. We'll have somebody go with the group who runs the maze and map out what's new when they get back." Tanner said with a nod.

"If we do send people in the Maze and they find something that could potentially harm all of us, we all should know about it." Ivy said.

"I agree! No secrets about the Maze!" Thomas said.

"And no going in by yourself," I said, mentally calling Liam out.

"How many people are going to be able to go in?" Avery asked.

"Three as the minimum." Devyn offered.

"That's stupid! That just risks more lives!" Dylan complained.

"Yeah! What about sending two people in or something lower?!" Liam asked.

"Because then two people could get hurt and nobody would be there to help any of them," Gulia said.

"Okay, but that could go the same way with three people," Amber argued.

"It's less likely with three or four people," I tried to explain.

"Still possible," Liam pointed out.

"How will we even decide who goes in and who doesn't?" Avery said mainly to herself, though everyone could hear it.

"We can vote," Denis suggested with a shrug.

"Is this a democracy now?" Dylan asked as complaints shot through the air.

"Well we need some form of leadership!" Claire stated over all the noise. "Look people," She started and everyone got quiet. "If you don't like it, that's fine! You're just going to have to deal with it because we can't have people recklessly running into the Maze and dying. We can't have people just doing whatever the hell they want here in the Clearing either. So for right now, voting for two people to be in charge of each is a good call. Depending on how it goes, yes. maybe we can change it in the future! But right now, we need somebody in charge before we all lose our minds!" Claire finished.

It seemed like everyone understood one way or the other by nods and shrugs.

"Voting will be held in two days. If the last person arrives in the box, someone fill them in." Avery said.

There was silence for a moment before Liam ruined it. "You people are unbelievable," He said, getting up and walking away while shaking his head.

"Guess that ends this," I sighed as I walked back towards the lake.
