"Ah, well, a women's intuition?" I guessed. Mary looks suspicious at me and Henry is just confused. Well I dunno?

"Ah, uh, well, I felt that he's been neglecting me, I mean, I haven't seen him in over a month!" I wave my hands for emphasis.

"And before that, the previous meeting with him was super short! Like I am his fiance right? But he seems to spend more time with his friends than me. I just thought that he might be lying and... falling in love with another person?" I mumbled. Dang, I sound like a jealous wife. I should have done some research before enacting this plan. Why did my father believe me though? Does he know something?

"Ah, I mean, my father agreed to my plan too! He must have noticed something was up with the prince!" I conclude, wiping off an imaginary sweatdrop. Dodged that one!

"Well I certainly think he should spend more time with his fiance. Especially since the war is over, Prince Orion shouldn't be so busy anymore." Mary still looks unsure but accepts it.

"But, my lady, don't you like Prince Orion? Why do you want to end the engagement? You are the daughter of Duke Thornweather. Unless the person Prince Orion is infatuated with a foreign princess, your status is more than enough to take down any lower noble or commoner." Mary questions. Uh...

"Well, I do like Prince Orion, but I am not interested in being with a person that doesn't like me back!" Yeah, that's right!

"Well, I guess. But how do you even know he likes someone with the intent of marriage?" Mary counters. Uh, well...

"Mary, it doesn't matter how I know! We will know the truth tomorrow when we talk with Prince Orion!" I interrupt.

"Well, I suppose." Mary seems dissatisfied but closes her mouth.

"Lady Annelise?" Henry raises his hand. Oh geez, is he also questioning this?

"Yeah?"

"What made you suddenly decide to do this? From my understanding, you seem to think that the Second Prince will suddenly reveal his affection for another at the upcoming celebration for the First Prince Caelum. I do not understand why you need to end the engagement before the celebration." Henry says. Uhhh...

"Well, I mean, it is the first prince's welcoming party. It's a big deal and the first prince's return will mean that there will be a shift in power. I just think that something big will happen because of the change in power. Besides, I think it's about time me and Prince Orion talk about our engagement. With the war over and his older brother back, he has no excuse to avoid me!" I cross my arms together for emphasis. Yeah, we should talk. I may have liked him before this but he never really showed the same.
